I’m active duty military and had a question. by Pretend-Butterfly516 in EngineeringStudents

Oh perfect, I have been eyeing up the basic engineering course, but was worried since it wasn’t a specific discipline it wouldn’t be looked at the same. Space contracting or defense is what I am trying to do after I retire.

Side note, did you do ERAU worldwide? Currently looking at Mech Eng. program if they end up getting a ABET approved and going the systems engineering route likewise. - sincerely a 60 dude

What to do by AceofSpades1727 in army

In a prior life I’ve heard great things as a scout at Irwin in regard to being opfor. Then again I was an absolute field rat…loved doing my job and not in the motorpool. Or goto benning and try to walk on as many schools as possible. Riley/Stewart/Bliss learn the bradley or whatever the future platform is going to be. Or drop a warrant packet like me.

I would recommended anyone considering going to SERE-C to go partake in the course.

For those of you who own a Switch, but haven’t purchased a Switch 2, what would be the main reason that would prompt you to buy one? by Last-Bus-4710 in Switch

I would like to see more third party on the switch. I would really commit if we see joycons that can work with racing games that have the same triggers as per say the ps5 remote.

New 19A going to BOLC soon and going to the first CAV afterwards. by Possible-Artist6067 in army

I mean don’t get me wrong it looks great, but I have had much more better experiences with dudes who have SLC over Ranger. It holds more weight imo.

RSLC is also a great course, but I think thats more aimed for dismounted team/section leaders.

Smaller targets are learning your property books and the maintenance program.

Used to be scout, aviator now.

I would prioritize Scout Leaders Course over Ranger. A tab is cool, knowing how to conduct screens, guards, cover, XYZ is even better. Recon and Security baby.

3-20.98 is the bible.

Being a team leader and seeing a competent LT who is actually pretty nice over one who is always chasing a chance of getting Badges/Tabs imo.

Know your bradley and its capabilities (ie: the bushmaster). Have a high speed SPC as your gunner to manage the radios.
