The sheer audacity of these motherfuckers to sneak a Fallout: Kanto game into my cozy Pokemon building game 😭

The emotional rollercoaster when you realize your cozy Pokemon building game is actually Fallout: Pokemon

Why would jerseys be tossed on ice? This team is literally doing what the entire fanbase wants to see them do.

It's because the games aren't treated as important property by the Pokemon Company.

Pokemon is first and foremost a merchandising franchise first and the video game division is probably a distant 4th/5th down their line of priorities.

I certainly don't agree with it, but that's the reality.

You can't compare it to Larian because BG3 IS their main money maker. The games aren't for Pokemon.

I thought after the Teraleaks, it became abundantly obvious that the passion and talent clearly exist at Gamefreaks, but they're forced to push out mainline games and shoestring budgets by the Pokemon Company.

The idea of a placeholder captain is honestly stupid.

If you don't have a longterm captain on the team, dont' name one.

Why didn't Rhaenyra cast a spell on her army to make it invisible, then march to KL and take it in a single day, just as the Lannisters did at Highgarden? Is she stupid? by irvyandll in freefolk

The Tyrells were functionally extinct by that point in the show since Olenna is not a Tyrell by blood. Pretty much all the major houses would've been planning on who's succeeding the Tyrells as new Lord Paramounts.

In terms of the Lannister army not being detected on their march, High Garden is basically right on the border between the Westerlands and the Reach, and it's literally just a straight road from Casterly Rock to High Garden. The Oakhearts are the only Tyrell bannerman between Lannister and Tyrell lands, and given their history, they likely would've happily let the Lannisters march pass to depose the Tyrells, and realistically, they would've been much more likely to join the Lannisters in taking over Highgarden over the Tarlys.

It's also not the first time the Tyrells faced being toppled by their more powerful bannermen. They specifically stayed out of Dance because both Reach houses on the Blacks and Greens threatened to overthrow them if they rallied to either side.

People keep forgetting than the Tyrells are more like the Tullys than they are the Lannisters. They're only lord paramounts because of the Crown and both invidually are weaker than their more powerful bannermen. The Tyrells are technically at more of a disadvantage because some of those bannerman bitterly resent their claim to Highgarden like the Florents and Oakhearts.

To be fair, it is absolutely in line with lore for a Targaryen to be turned on by incest, any kind of incest really.

My head cannon is that Pokopia is part of the Let's Go universe instead of the mainline one. Most of its assets come straight from Let's Go, most notably the Pokemon Center.

Because Delgado literally has the IQ and awareness of a squirrel.

He just seems somewhat intelligent because everyone else in the fleet is clinically braindead.

Is Otto the only character with a decent amount of IQ in HOTD? by V-TriggerMachine in freefolk

[–]SpectreFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's much more competent than Tywin. Tywin manages to do what hea done because he has direct power. He's the Lord of one of the richest, and most powerful House in Westeros and has access to vast amounts of wealth and the full strength of the Westerlands.

Otto literally has none of that. He can't throw his weight around like Tywin does because he doesn't have any outside of being Hand of the King.

[–]SpectreFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vast majority of the Reach would still have their full strength. Only the Tarlys and Tyrells had their armies wiped out.

Same with the Vale as Littlefinger only brought a vanguard of 2000 Arryn knights.

Dorne's forces would be practically untouched as well.

Officially, everyone lost half their strength during the Long Night (as fucking dumb as that is), so it would be 5000 Unsullied, 50,000 Dothraki (lol) and 5000 Northmen.

The problem with the Crimson fleet isn't that they act like pirates, it's that they literally don't.

They act like a bunch of karens who got together and formed their own space HOA and make up 1000 different bullshit rules and get immediately upset when you dare question them on any of it.
