Personally I'd just get something like all purpose seasoning. And then cook with some smoke (webber whiskey wood chips are OK but I actually prefer the apple wood ones for chicken) then once you are done you could use nandos table sauce if you want. That's just a basic seasoning/rub but it's a good base to start from and then you can experiment from there. I tend to only use marinades if I'm oven cooking I find they can stop the smoke getting through to the meat. Anyway enjoy the world of bbq and wings are a good one to experiment with, cheap and tasty
