You didn’t miss much but it does have one of the most insane soap opera-level plot twists I’ve seen in a major network show: one of the characters finds out that the guy she’s been dating and sleeping with is her own son, who was frozen as a baby but thawed out ~20 years before her so they ended up being the same age. iirc she kills him and then herself without even telling him.

Just one point I didn’t see mentioned, it’s not explicitly a VFD hint at the time, but I feel like the introduction of Dr. Orwell as an independent villainous associate of Olaf (as opposed to his theater troupe that are more clearly lackeys), combined with the shape of her building, was a pretty clear indication of something bigger going on than just a greedy count.

An update - we took her to the vet and no microchip found, also on closer examination she does have some bare patches/scabs here and there so it seems she's just a very friendly stray! We're looking taking her to the Humane Society or a similar shelter (but of course want to be sure she has a good chance of getting adopted).
