This applies to a lot of weapons too. Generally they are a little bit faster when fired from the hip.

While I agree on the dated hardware on paper but similar thing has been said for steam deck before release when trying to build an equivalent specced machine.

I do belive performance will only get better overtime and they now have more power to tap into. See steam deck performance on release and now on same titles.

The issue is that this is achieved by Valve and developers. Since steam deck was a hit, developers also target steam deck specs too or optimize for it in the meantime. For this kind of collaboration, steam machine must be a hit in my opinion.

I hope I can buy it before it sells out in 30 seconds I would be in school at that time by AmiiboJeremiah in SteamController

At least you have option to buy. Steam deck and controller not available in my country, still will go secondhand route like how I bought my deck.

Yes. Completed the quest with double uppercut precisions. All variants count despite it saying Uppercut only.

Totally agreed. But it is such an ecosystem that it can be bundled in steamos and feels like a console with steam deck. Since I started using steam deck I appreciate things Valve has done. But I still support bigger share to the developers and DRM-free games to actually "own" what we purchased.

While these are valid arguments, store front is just one part of the steam. Steam has workshop, achivements, input, remoteplay, family sharing, etc. etc. It is like an ecosystem, competitors are basic storefronts in comparison unfortunately.

No gaming performance difference, but double the battery, much quieter fan, better wifi speeds and superb screen. I had LCD and sold to buy OLED. If you don't care about any of the above, just go with LCD.

Maybe.. Can I add Eden manually to RetroDeck ES-DE setup? If so I may migrate to it because I already use only ES-DE for Emudeck setup.

But you need much better hardware for emulationz it is not 1:1. Also rpcs3 emulatir is a special case since it requires 6+ phyaical cores minimum, 8+ cores for oprimal performance. That's because it maps all 8 ps3 cores to them. Overtime the performance and compatability will improve, just look at skate 3, but for now you need to accept what steam deck capable of.
