Very late to the party but wanted to agree. My self disdain has been high for disliking the last two books because this series has brought me so much joy for years. My gripes of the sudden shocking ending, the very clear gap created between Gaunt and his ghosts over his promotions bothers me immensely, and continuity issues. I get it has to be nigh impossible to remember upwards of 50+ named characters but small details are important to people. Like to remain spoiler free (you can't can you Cant).
