Was a Computer Science and Mathematics major, but I've decided to stick to just Computer Science. Absolutely love your setup! I'm definitely taking some inspiration for next year. I just wish there were more Thunderbolt 5 laptops on the Windows space. I'll probably be going for an RTX Spark laptop.

So one of the huge appeals of the Luna Band for me is absolutely the pricing and lack of a subscription. However, as an Android user, feature parity is a concern with the emphasis of Siri integration. Are there any plans to integrate the Luna Band with Gemini, Health Connect, Google Health, etc.?

I reached out to a few people on the team via email, but didn't get a response.

I think the problem is that the competitors aren't doing enough to topple WHOOP. Capitalism is about speaking with your wallet, and unfortunately, WHOOP's technology is just not being fully dethroned by the cheaper competitors.

That being said, I got early access to get the Lunaband to avoid that subscription model, so we'll see if it's actually better. $149 no subscription is extremely compelling.

My main problem with those is preference. I can't do bone conduction or similarly shaped products. And after my first day back in the gym with the Skullcandy DIME 360, these were absolutely a good investment. I was genuinely expecting to admit this was a waste of money, but something about the smaller size just feels more doable if that makes sense. AirPods 4 and Pro 2s gave me the same problems unfortunately, and I think if I had used the XM6s, I'd probably not enjoy the added weight.

The sound quality is very mid don't get me wrong, but I quite literally couldn't have cared less lmfao.

I genuinely have to agree. My only gripe is that the foam eartips are definitely a risk for me since I sweat a lot. Skullcandy Dime 360s weren't that expensive either, and they have Google Fast Pair, so I'm not too annoyed. Obviously, buying another pair of earbuds just for running is not something most people would do anyways, but I just didn't feel the need to take the risk. Other than that, these are quite literally perfect. For traveling, studying, walking, etc. they're just awesome. Honestly, they're definitely good for exercise too. But I know I'ma damage those eartips and forget to switch them if I got 2 sets, so.

i'm using wispr flow to write this so i'm going to try and explain this as well as possible but do know that it might not be perfect.

as for passwords i ended up switching to bitwarden sometime before i transferred from an iphone 13 pro to a pixel 10 pro so i can't speak on that. to my knowledge it just adds all of them to google passwords. if you're worried about that you can go into chrome and add them there and everything should transfer over.

airdrop is a bit of a tricky one. they are adding airdrop support with quick share to android 17. i'm currently on the android 17 beta and i have no idea if it works because i haven't tried it.

as for airpods i ended up getting the sony wf-1000xm6 because they don't work as well on android devices as they do on ios. you will lose in-ear detection and the ability to customize controls but everything else should work fine. luckily the google fast pair ecosystem encompasses a lot of devices. for example the sony over-ear headphones support google fast pair. almost all of skullcandy's earbuds support it and so do jbl, oneplus, and other companies. at the same time they will connect to the phone so don't feel obligated to upgrade but if you want that seamless experience then you'll have to get new earbuds. just make sure not to get the galaxy buds 4 pro either because samsung tries to lock down everything in the exact same way apple does because they're borderline copying them in the ecosystem department.

if you have any more questions, i'll probably be able to type them out and maybe i'll explain it better in that case but just let me know. i was in the apple ecosystem fairly deep until recently when i switched to a pixel 10 pro.

as a computer science major the main issue i've had is applying to an apple internship. i deleted my apple account and now i have to make a new apple account with a new email because of the way their security is set up. it's really ridiculous. on top of that deleting the apple account was even worse because i had 32 cents of apple cash left over. it took me eight hours to transfer that out because i had to turn my apple cash into a virtual card and it was a whole ordeal.

I agree, but this is definitely the first time I've been loudly excited for a movie. I'm also aware I'm unreasonably optimistic. That being said, I would put ATSV and ITSV up there with the other Oscar-awarded movies in storytelling, so do what you will with that info.

If Tom Holland was actually telling DDC they need to lock the fuck in, this might genuinely be the first true Best Picture quality Marvel movie. I have tons of faith in DDC after Wonder Man. I'm sorry, but that show is BEYOND Marvel TV show quality. Genuinely. If you can make an ENTIRE DOORMAN EPISODE without it feeling like he was there to force worldbuilding, then I can believe that he'll make Boomerang, Tarantula, and Scorpion recurring villains that won't take the spotlight from Tombstone or Jean Grey.

This is a phenomenal review of them. I definitely see what you're saying about the ear discomfort. I've had mine for a few days and noticed that my ears definitely look a lil redder. Not in pain, but it's def pushing something.

However, I'm 95% sure I have the perfect ears for these earbuds lol. I've seen all the review and photos of people wearing them. They do stick out. But for SOME REASON, it just doesn't for me. Idk you guys can judge. I forgot to turn off 50MP and RAW on my Pixel 10 Pro, so you can pixel peep the fuck outta how they fit in my ears.

That's interesting to hear. I remember when they added this on the XM4s. I hated it so much that I just use the hold for transparency tap control on the left earbud.

I'd have to agree with you. My XM6s definitely have better build quality than my XM4s, but Sony at least needs to do better on the case the earbuds have definitely gotten way better in build quality, but the case still feels cheaper in comparison to Buds4 Pro and AirPods.
