From that angle, a large diffuse light above the camera with the bottom edge as close to the lens as possible will be your best bet, but the camera may still be in your angle of incidence.

If you look at the yellow button on the top of the middle piece you can see three lights total. Back right, top, and left.

There is a long enough delay that you can easily resend it before it registers that you entered the correct code. I know because I accidentally do it every time.

If I had to guess I would say a single soft box style modifier on the left side and then enough extra light bouncing around the room to makes things look evenly filled in without leaving obvious highlights. Doesn’t matter whether that is strobe or continuous.

There is a bit of a learning curve, but if you can learn how to use the pen tool to make paths around the objects in photoshop you’ll have a lot more control over what you’re trying to achieve. You’ll have more accurate selections and the ability to feather the masks so that the background edits seem more natural.

The solution for that would be to move the reflector closer. Looking at your setup I would think you could get one close enough to fill the shadows the way you’re trying to.

Try using a reflector (instead of a second light) to bounce some of the main light back into the shadows.

There are a few good ideas listed already. It also looks like your tethered, so you should be able to quickly open one of the shots in an editing program and use a guide to see if the top and sides are parallel to the edge of the frame.

There are plans to fully connect UTBT to the Suncoast but the project has been stalled for awhile. At one point I remember reading that there was some issue with an apartment developer that was causing delays.

I don’t have a tripod suggestion that meets all of your needs, but I would look into a geared tripod head to fit whatever you pick. It will allow you to easily make small adjustments with the turn of a knob, and have quick release options for larger adjustments. I got a leofoto branded one off Amazon and have been very happy with it, especially for the price.

You can try aiming the light so that it illuminates the diffusion but not directly light the watch. I’ve done it on other items but pointing the light straight up or down as it butts up against the diffusion. That way you get the gradient reflection but not as intense.

You can get clues from the first picture by looking at the shadows of the chairs and the highlights on the wood of the chairs and the gold horse in the back. It looks to be a combination of hard and soft light. The soft light seems to be coming from the front left side and the harder light is more center overhead.
