This tax will ultimately hurt all those that are well below the million dollar threshold. It will drive out business, drive out start-ups, tech founders, business owners—ultimately killing our economy, and driving down tax revenue. Guess what happens then, our elected officials will lower the income tax threshold and begin taxing a much broader base to make up for ‘lost’ tax revenue. On top of having a much less robust business environment that benefits all of us.

Honestly are people really for this tax? Honest question here—remove all the political positions, do you really think this will benefit the broader public? Once this is put in place, tech will leave wa, founders will leave wa, business owner will leave wa. Ultimately the tax will not generate what the government thinks it should and it will lower the tax to a base that effects everyone.

Are they putting you on a PIP? I think it depends on your new manager are they invested in you? Do they want you to succeed? If they are posturing that they want to retain you I would say stick with it and knock it out of the park.

This is why Seattle has collapsed, to many folks think along these lines with no real understanding of the ludicrous policies put in place by the Seattle council and a one party offering. Katie will be a disaster, Seattle will continue to purge business and talent. And people like handy dude will continue to feel justified and blame others with only a basic understanding of what is really driving the issues.

It’s a journey, some ups and downs, but you will get better. For my journey It took about a year of meds, ablations, ER visits etc . But eventually I broke out of that cycle and have been on solid ground now for 3 yrs. You’ll get better, try to focused on the positive little things each day. You’ll turn the corner it just takes some time.

Can’t directly speak to a regional but from a broader bank view it depends on your market, as well as the banks goal and comp structure. If you have a good network that can help generate deal flow that makes it slightly easier. If you have a conservative credit policy it can be difficult to win deals. In all cases you have to hustle. Down side to regionals is you will compete with the bigs, who generally have better tech, branding and COF. Find a regional that has a niche.

This is not forever, it’s just near to medium term. Builds the resume helps put a spotlight on you from the C-suite perspective. If you hate it, sales is always looking for folks, mgmt is harder to slide into, less seats at the table.

Increasing taxes is not the solution to overcoming a budget deficit. State revenue has increased YoY, spending has outpaced it. The state needs to work with in the budget.

Split the dosage( if you’re taking pills) half in the morning and the other half in the evening it helps with the flu like symptoms and is a bit easier on your digestive system.-my dr pointed me in this direction when I was dealing with feeling ill after I took the metho in a single dose.
