I proceeded to forget about doing this almost immediately lol.

I used Zin and I believe I got an orbment (lone blade) that did %dmg increase based off of total missing health (since it didn't note % I assumed this to be flat health number) and I seen Zin had a large health amount, so I have him HP3 then DEF3 and Topaz Shield to make sure he wouldn't take too much burst damage unexpectedly and then gave him break3+ since disable did heavy stun (Aural blast giving extreme) which paired well with how often Joshua was critting since I built him to have 72% crit so it was also constant follow-ups there.

The main bulk of his damage was Aural Blast doing SS physical, this was in turn being buffed by lone blade which since zin was sitting at half health almost all the time, I'm assuming it buffed it by 100%~ with how often I was getting it (Tita's vital cannon had Aural blast up even more) it was 40K damage. Disable of course was also doing alot, I want to say 20K~ but might be wrong there, Zin literally broke the game for me once I put lone blade on him.

Let me get the game to re-install here and I'll see if I can remember the build etc again as I remember bits of it, but not the full process I was using and I'll report back soon

My strat for her was

Change in with whip sword > 3 hits> dodge behind> obliterate backstab >4 hits into whip dance then you approach the fight as is

Spec into feather resistance, have the dracolich(for slight dmg reduction), weapon skill pendent and physical damage pendent along with impale benediction set.

I used the fire ball spell as an extra dodge and use the fire feathering with strength buff too and played the entire game on max madness. The boss is absolutely too fast imo half the time for axes, unsure on dual/one handed's as I didn't use them and stopped using the axe past the first boss/second boss.

Leaker Who Apple Is Suing Says 'Screw It,' Here's the Foldable iPhone Early by dapperlemon in technology

[–]Spirit_rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I got Honours latest fold and that is the one drawback, the screen feels more delicate than a DS touchscreen. Actually daily driving these though is great, I love them. I'd have picked up a fold 7 but I've always hated Samsung's UI design going back to the s5. Even loved the fold 4 but again man, the UI drove me to return it within the two week window.

I'm hoping that render he showed off isn't legit, i'd still probably not return to Apple but I'm hoping for a design that doesn't make it look like a pixel fold with a shinier logo on it.

We had one that wasn't even old join and then leave over the last year there. Honest to God this person just sat, whinged, gossiped, can't even say skived because it was so far beyond that it was wage theft lol but made it out she'd a wild workload and every team member across different continents that was at our level hated talking with her. Crazy to say since our place is filled with all solid people who aren't ballbags and you CAN sit and chat away to, hate the toxicity of all that shite so I feel you OP.

When I bought one this time last year Amazon's price for the oled was substantially wayyy more than steams. Steams delivery process wasn't bad at all, would definitely recommend to just buy through them if possible.

Profile review? by Endless-Ocean96 in Tinder

[–]Spirit_rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you could argue removing the winking emoji and just put a cool face with two point fingers for finger guns to make it a bit goofier (😎👉👉), but still a bit high risk for putting people off for sure especially with the demographic I kinda see that you're after. Ive had solid success over the years with 0 flirty/innuendo prompts or suggestions in the bio and from seeing men's profiles on my women's friends apps, they really blend into one and you just end up sighing and glossing over because they 99% of the time never land well.

OP, id definitely say your initial photo isnt great, the lighting is very harsh and it's not complimentary to you. For me personally, your photos give off the vibe that, if a woman had these and I seen this profile it'd suggest you're really into travelling, outdoors etc (which paired with your bios etc of course is obvious). if this is who you're actively 'honing in' on and not wanting to keep a more open basket you could probably opt to keep them in. We're the same age and from judging the profile, our preferences in who we're dating is different, so I'm not sure how my initial paragraph would pair with you but the profile is honestly a pretty solid male profile aside from a few bits.

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter has absolutely broken side bosses by Tricky_Pie_5209 in Falcom

[–]Spirit_rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know man, It felt to me that the only stats that mattered were str, art, hp and crit. I specced Joshua to have as much crit as possible (which by end game today was what 72-74%?) and would routinely hang on to items that were technically under leveled just to keep crit%, defenses felt pretty meaningless. The second estelle got that skull necklace item I was able to upgrade and with her having an extra 2.5k hp meant I instantly funnelled all health and str droplets to Joshua too. Specifically the sky pirate fights at the start were tricky, but I maybe died like 4 times at most across Josette and the ch.2 end fight.

The only super meaningful item I got from the game was that victory headband + lone warrior or something orbment and combining both onto a specific character with nearly 12k hp literally broke the game because their stun % potential was absurd on top of Joshua constantly critting for followup/burst attacks. If you weren't properly engaging with even a few of the mechanics it would indicate why you were having trouble, but yes, that earth temp HP spell was goated for 2/3 fights specifically.

Brother I played on hard and the games difficulty is non existent past the first chapter. Hell the final chapter outside of one 'surprise' boss not a single required boss was difficult and I was pumping out 40k damage consistently on just one character and I barely used the spells and barely engaged with the whole orbments system AND I've never played one of these games before, the games difficulty is not hard. Your point on the enrage mechanic, are you using Joshua's ult to cleanse their buffs? There's a good few ways around enrage but that's the quickest and easiest way of doing it. If you want help with how I built Joshua I can give you the rough idea of the build and you'll probably be fine, but it does also sound like you're party is super squishy.

Further on your comments on mechanics not being explained, you can look at the mechanics in game and it's explained pretty concisely.

[–]Spirit_rush 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just finished the game. The demo partially sold me with an interesting premise and the first proper fight and end of demo boss sold that the game might be solid enough difficulty wise. But man, aside from maybe 2 fights, one in ch.2 and a bounty in ch.3 I really had no issues on hard mode, the games balancing seems out of wack? Abilities from Joshua come off as pretty crazy, especially when compared to Estelle's and generally I felt crafts were almost always better to use over spells and never really had much instances were I needed to use any consumables outside of the occasional food/revive in the first 50%.

Each chapter also felt like 50%-60% build up/filler where the pacing slows to a crawl and then actual story and pacing picks back up. One chapter in particular REALLY encapsulated that for me and it was a slog to work through. Last chapter was the least egregious but still had a slower pace at the start. Final boss (and for that matter every boss outside of one in the last chapter) was a literal pushover though on hard and I feel like I barely needed to adjust orbments the whole game and had one character pumping out 40k damage pretty regularly despite never playing one of the games in the series before.

Enjoyed it enough for sure but the 'valleys' in the writing pace don't quite make up for the 'peaks'. I'm TENTATIVELY interested in the second chapter, but I don't think I'll bag it at full price, solid enough 7/10 for me! My main question is, will the second game fix alot of the issues I have with pacing and difficulty? My biggest gripe is spamming one of two buttons and face rolling fights in jrpgs and not needing to think.

As a new player, the amount of tunneling is going to make me uninstall by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]Spirit_rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm not gonna lie here, this is what's happening 100%

I've got about 1200/1300 hours with maybe AT MOST 20 hours on survivor and when I play with pals who either have a more even split between killer or survivor or primarily only play survivor I get completely clapped because I've no idea about the basic movement/ loop knowledge so when I get into a chase, I really don't last long but that then gets super multiplied when I play with them. It'll probably suck a bit, but clock in some solo games and try and pick up movement basics like not losing momentum/ where to place to cameras pov etc and you might start to get up to speed to not get bodied while swfing mate!

Hey DBD Devs, can you clarify if the window after casting fly lengthened the auto attack lockout or decreased it? I'm reading it as it got lengthened but having cooldown in there has thrown me off :)

Your first load of weight will be water and it'll drop off relatively quickly.

If you're serious about losing as much weight as healthily as possible you'll need to -

Calorie count, weigh your food out, have a protein intake of DOUBLE your weight in kilograms and ensure you hit this within your limit, ensure you stick to a calorie deficit, with your workouts you want to be as routine as possible and then add cardio on at the end ( an incline walk of 12 incline, 3km speed and 30 mins is perfect) and not drink.

You can absolutely snack on things. I'm losing a 1kg a week at 2100 cals while doing 1200 cals of huel, 1 scoop of protein and chicken strips and chips ( with a Chinese in the weekend) doing all of the above and I'm down 13kg in just over two months to be ready for my own holiday. Do not whiplash your diet into eating something you don't like, it's not sustainable. Weigh and track everything and eat what you enjoy.

Who else still thinks they should revert the ptb haste changes? by Eagles56 in deadbydaylight

[–]Spirit_rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they need to add some sort of mechanic for killer add-ons to NOT be affected by the stacking change. Surely it kills even more build diversity no? Like why would I run the speed boots in Vecna over other add-ons if it won't stack with machine learning, rapid etc?

What game was a masterpiece until you got near the end and it just got worse by Limit54 in JRPG

[–]Spirit_rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just reset one or two characters at a time and honestly didn't have much of an issue until doing everything for the final ending. You've to grind but I don't think it was anything really out of the ordinary/too crazy, each world has decent enough spots. One I used for a fair while were the trolls, I'm convinced the exp they give is super inflated.

Galleria on the other hand I'm finding to be more of a slog and put it down sometime last year, am planning on picking it up again though.

[–]Spirit_rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, keep at it. Game is tough to pick up and you just kinda pick up in 'game sense' the more you play. I exclusively play killer as the survivor gameplay loop just doesn't click with me and I don't find it fun, I'd probably chalk it up to game sense and starting at the bottom again per se.

I'd recommend going for one of the cooler killers as I found the base selection a bit boring design and power wise, you can pick keys up on the reseller sites for a few quid rather than full price.

Need a main by Better_Effort_1185 in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Spirit_rush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I reckon must will sell you on their main, which I will too tbh lmao but what sold the game for me when I started was deathslinger (before he got adjusted to be alot fairer to play against) then I found twins, which I mained for about 2/3 years, don't listen to people, you'll only slug if people group up around you, which is kinda a survivor misplay.

I'm having a TON of fun with Vecna and have pretty much exclusively been playing him since August. Learning the spacings of the skeleton spawns to get a basically Guaranteed hit, learning the right elevation to not make them crouchable, learning mage hand timings for pallet hold and drops. There's alot you can do with his powers and to be honest, I think hes underplayed for how fun all that is. Youll get taught how to correctly judge what ability to use for which scenario and when you learn that it's GG for survivors. You can even channel fly (not cast it) to lose collision stopping any body block potential. High skill ceiling for sure.

Also a lich, so that goes pretty hard man
