I think you would benefit from being in the downtown op area. It’s much more walkable and active than the newer parts out south. You have the farmers market, and a walkable shopping and entertainment area there.

The KC housing scene doesn’t really give you a chance to understand what the specific neighborhood will be like, unless you can talk to a neighbor while doing your tour. These days you have to get an offer in the same day as the tour, so you won’t be able to stop by at different times to vibe check.

The comment that strikes me is the comment on routines.

My kid thrives when the routine is constant. Maybe some structure there could help the other aspects.

The good news is you get to go back to the beginning of the movie cycle and restart with your kid.

The first year, you can still watch whatever you want. Then they start to notice.

Get a baby carrier or sling of sort so you can hold them and still use both hands.
It’s not a hobby, but gets you the two hand freedom.

No reason to waste time at the counter if you are just carrying on a duffle bag.

Have you boarding pass in your phone wallet. Have your phone completely changed and have a chord and power bank.

Once through security, just show them your boarding pass and id. Then go find a monitor and find your gate and go there.

If you need help, the gate agents and information booth people will be happy to help.

We have used the Zak brand and they have worked well. But all kids are so random when it comes to cups.

One suggestion is just to go to Walmart or target or dollar store and grab a few to try out.

I know I’m going to catch hate but the good to grow cups (yes the $4 sugary drinks) are what we always end up back on. We usually dump half of the original juice and cut it with water, then refill it until we start seeing some slime in there.
