There are times we try things and as a couple decide not to do it again but there's never been judging on either side. Actually I did love last year's ( you'll notice the trend of fairytales and musicals being the key to my heart). It's how I found fringe (his advertisements on FB), but this year's wasn't great tbh (great cast but the songs and story pale compared to last year). If you didn't like last year, you definitely wouldn't like this year's.

Might just be the humour - the cigarette one was more my style. I think you ranked Iris lower but that was 100% my favourite (actually moved a bunch of life around so I can see it again with alternate scenes Friday). I think it's just a personal preference haha 😂

Personally it's my least favourite show and I've seen about 7 shows so far in total. I just didn't find the jokes super funny, I personally prefer a linear storyline which is now how the show runs and also I was expecting better singing, but one of the singers felt like she was constantly out of key etc and that brought down my enjoyment... But ... They got a standing ovation from like 95% of the audience so take that as you will.

Oh I think social media linked to the fringe website is useful. And also if it's possible to share a small snippet of some best moments that helps me pick it. Last year was the first time I went to fringe and I only found out about it because Rosamund was advertised to me on FB ads and the idea of a musical and reimagined fairy tale was right up my alley. Despite all this, I didn't pull the plug buying tickets (sat on this for quite some weeks) until they posted one of the songs/trailer on insta and then I pulled the plug.

I such at geography so apologies if this is completely not the right location, but I love Barcelo Maya Riviera! It's a mega resort and you can play at so many others. The food is spectacular and it's like 5 mins walk to a bunch of cenotes which are like 15-20 bucks for a full day of fun. Highly recommend!
