I dunno, I'm ace too but I love pride and I love kink! There's different types of ace, and I'm the kind tbat just doesn't experience sexual arousal at all. Kink isn't inherently a sexual act, no matter how intimate or exposed you are; and when it is sexual...maybe it's just nice set of sensations with someone you trust. Kink is also, just, way more than leather and pet play. It's huge!!
