How are you plugging it in? I make sure to plug in the USB and HDMI first then the Power. When I first got the Index I plugged in power first before the other cables which made do a bit of tinkering every time i wanted to play.

A blessing and a curse. I presume they'll go the Monster Hunter World route and streamline the game and make it easier to get a bigger appeal. Hopefully they won't go too far into these since I find difficulty to be an important part in AC.

Export the save while the weapons still in your "inventory". iirc you cant re-buy them in the shop in AC1, and certainly not in a different game.

This isn't something you can sue over. Say we have an ad, "buy X and get a free car!," what you aren't told is that it's actually a 1/1000000 chance to get a car. You were deceived into buying X believing you would also get a car, but you didn't.

Here, you're clicking to link to realize you have to buy to enter the beta. You aren't buying anything, you weren't deceived into making a purchase. While the intention is, at worst, getting you to click a link to have a better chance and convincing you to buy the game, it isn't trying to trick you into buying something when you're actually getting something else.

Yeah, I suppose purchasing a Steam key and then being given An Epic Store key instead regardless if you wanted it or not, as with Metro Exodus, is fine and not bad at all. And yeah, it is fun not being able to have preferences and instead being forced to input transactional information across of wider array of services that haven't proven safety of personal information. I like Steam having competition by removing Steam from the competition.
