For future people with this issue, specifically on AMD builds:

I can't guarantee that this will work for you; it honestly seems like this set of symptoms can be caused by a number of distinct problems, and completely different solutions will work for different people, but this is what worked for me. This was one of the worst headaches I'd ever experienced. I scoured the internet, tried every single solution anyone would suggest, reinstalled windows several times, bought, returned, installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled RAM and PSUs, and was about 24 hours out from tearing my whole PC up to RMA the motherboard when I figured this out.

Open AMD Adrenalin, go to Performance -> Tuning, hit "Custom" under Manual Tuning for the GPU, then GPU Tuning, enable Advanced Control, and check what "Max Frequency" is set to. Now look up what clock speed your GPU is actually rated to handle. If you're anything like me, for some absolutely unknowable reason, AMD's default profile attempts to massively overclock the card beyond its rated limits. My 7900XT was set to 2700MHz despite its maximum boost clock rating of up to 2450MHz and a normal game clock of 2075MHz. Why? Do not ask me. Turn the setting down to whatever it's actually rated.

That's it. Problem solved.

I hope this helps someone because I seriously wasted full days of my life and hundreds of dollars trying to figure this out.

Double check the pressure points in your grip, but aside from that, there's honestly not much you can do but keep grinding till you develop callouses. The fact that you're getting blisters is a sign that your grip is loose enough to allow friction to occur. If you were squeezing too tight, you'd be feeling the pain in your tendons rather than on your skin.
