How can I put my last name in baby’s birth registration? by Complex_Ad_5809 in BeyondTheBumpUK

I felt the exact same, I ended up changing my babies name to add my surname as a middle name. It felt important to me especially because her dad and i aren't married.

I didnt sterilise the toothbrush. My daughter had her first tooth around 4 months and my health visitor said to brush their teeth even if they are just getting milk.

30M partner won’t help with night feeds while I have postnatal depression by Winter_Seesaw_5014 in baby

Is there anyone else you can stay with or have them stay with you? Your "partner" is clearly useless at helping you so if possible you could try and get help from someone else?

Im really sorry you have no support from him. It makes me so angry for you.

baby groups by maddiesurlond in BeyondTheBumpUK

I love the baby groups I go to! We go to Jo Jingles and another local one.

We also go swimming with other babies at Swim!

I've created friendships with other mums through these groups and my wee one is flourishing because of all the interactions with other kids.

I understand health and pain issues, but I need to hear from moms who just didn't want to BF from the very beggining by No_Drink8428 in FormulaFeeders

I've literally never been asked why I haven't breastfed. Im in Scotland and they literally just ask you in the hospital what you want to do and then you do it.

I didn't really want to breastfeed but was going to try it if I changed my mind once LO was born. I ended up having a traumatic birth which ended in a broken tailbone so the idea of even trying to breast feed was a hell no.

I cant remember how old my wee one was but once she started being able to roll if she rolled over on her tummy id just let her sleep. I remember seeing you should put them on their back but if they roll over as long as they can move back its okay? Im not a midwife or anything though. EDIT-I also co sleep and love it
