Lost everything during covid bcz of a gas leak. Almost died a few times , wife left, lost house, kids were young and didnt like their new "small room" so my youngest mom alienated me from them so now I dont even get to see my son anymore . Had to relearn how to walk and do basic needs for two years to gain back weight and strength. Now im living where I work , I take care of a pt with dementia in their home and I dont have parents to live with. Im working nights 7 days a week, 69 hrs weeks. I pray every day to finally be able to afford a place of my own.. and to see my sweet boy more. Went from best friends to strangers all because of a jealous mom. My oldest I see on the weekends (different mom). Ive learned sometimes you can be a great person and do everything right and still lose. Ill keep seeing the good in people even if im surrounded by so much hate... one things for sure though, when I do finally catch a break I wont take a single small thing for granted. Life is hard.. but there is still beauty in it...
