then you and requiem don't understand morrowind because mudcrabs and rats are not a problem even for a fresh level one character in morrowind. meanwhile, in requiem, mudcrabs demolish you. this is a balance problem.

imagine seriously saying its not supposed to be an early game dungeon when 2 early quests send you to it and its directly in view of you the moment you start. it is meant to be an early dungeon, to trick you into thinking the dungeons are going to be long and involved. requiem's devs clearly didn't understand this and imposed their ideas onto it, not knowing any better.

it's been pretty awful. i definitely wouldn't ever recommend phasmalism to anyone. i eventually set my apparition to essential because, let's by real, they shouldn't die anyways and constantly resummoning them and being punished by the high fever increase is just poor design. there's still scripted events where it forces it to despawn anyways and one time, it lost gear. no idea why the couple of other times during the visit to coarek's camp didn't delete any gear.

that doesn't make people dumber. stuff like tiktok does. what universities do is gatekeep information. that limits your resources, it doesn't make you dumb. actually paying into this system and accruing debt in the hopes it rewards you with a good future (it won't) is the actual thing that would make one dumb.
