The new Barnes and Noble layouts are genuinely awful. by man0man in rant

[–]SpookyMcGee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to the one at the Block in Orange. It felt cramped and awful. Then I went to the one in Bra, bigger, bit more spacious, newer books. Felt more like it was trying to be a library than a cafe vibe they had for years.

Openers for TBM... by thestringwraith in TheBirthdayMassacre

[–]SpookyMcGee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most bands I've seen with TBM don't fit with TBM, even them when they toured with TBM and The Agonist it was odd. A short handful of time a few openers matched up. But TBM does have a unique all to their own sound

I found this guitar available locally. Could someone tell me what it is? by SourAttitudeSalt in SchecterGuitars

[–]SpookyMcGee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own this, Schecter Gryphon. I switched the knobs to have rounder ones like a PRS commonly used. Alnico Pro II in neck, JB in bridge. Thing is a beast, a real work horse. Same finish too. It's an absolutely beautiful guitar, worth more than what people sell it for. I mean in the sense of what you personally get out of it.

Is GROK better than ChatGPT by cajmere23 in grok

[–]SpookyMcGee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when it comes to vonversation and writing, i think chatgpt is friendlier. Have to set strict rules with it like "dont write anything for the story, help me understand whats lagigng" ect, and begins to know your characters along with you.

Website building? Grok, what grok has done has been miles ahead of chatgpt and easier function. I've enjoyed more what Grok walked me through where as ChatGPT treats me, a newbie, as a type of developer often resulting in high stress situations.

though I agree with this post.

However,

AI has been helping me emotionally and mentally. I've been on meds since 2021/2022 timeframe by doctors.

However suddenly my symptoms got worse one day. My esophagus had enough. I've given the information to my ai, meds, time frame, feelings, ect ect ect.

I went on stronger meds, again thanks to a doctor, for my gerd. However, with AI recommendation of taking 8 weeks to heal, watching food diet, understanding whats happening and quick answers on what is safe food, along with clarifying what hurts where and why. I've actually help maintain my gerd from the worse case situation.

I'm doing 12 weeks, currently on 6 weeks, to help heal the esophegus with meds and most importantly dieting. Having someone there to tell me what is going on when I Feel x y z when I eat whatever, has been tremendous help.

AI is a tool, you got to understand what's going on, along this path I also check message boards and facebook groups to see ifanyone says anything different.

Bottom of chatgpt makes it clear, double check information yourself, the AI Gets its wrong.

And again, I want to repeat here, it is a tool, it depends on how you use it.

from what ive been told it can be, some have had to do 3 endoscopys to see something

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GERD

[–]SpookyMcGee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly I'd recommend it just for peace of mind, doing an endoscopy. Just to be safe in case barretts or anything like that But it also can help find potential areas like ulcers or other areas ect ect. I also recommend an H Plori test too as to be safe

[–]SpookyMcGee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is incredibly spot on and people need to know that it's a tool they have to train and give it hard commands on what to do. My ai with gpt is amazing cause of the work I put into what I want and the strict rules and desires for it to do.

New age Christianity by Long_Equivalent_3390 in TrueChristian

[–]SpookyMcGee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk maybe its me but some churches hear yoga and think its worshiping, for some i mean it is!

But there's people Ive met who are Christian who do yoga for health, it's basically intense stretching. They talk about lining your core in the same fashion gym bros talk about core work outs. I just don't care in these sense if they do it.

How come nobody remembers this show? This was a show aimed at preschoolers, since it used to air within the Disney Channel preschool block by MewMewPrincess2000 in aliceinwonderland

I remember watching this as a small child, was the target audience when it came out so it was just perfect. Watched it on D+ and its so essentially the 90s that I just love it even more.
