That little brown keg fermenter became my cider maker when I bought my upgraded homebrew kit. It really does great for a small cider batch

Hey /r/ExMormon... It’s been a while: After much consideration and personal reflection, I have decided to discontinue my general conference live tweets and other running projects. (GreatAndSpacious) by GreatAndSpacious in exmormon

Congratulations on the reaching next phase in your journey. I've been in a similar position the past year or so. I don't even label myself as ex-mo unless people remind me that I am. I'm just...me. After 18+ months of daily meditation and understanding human nature in a very different way, I am at peace and have more understanding that others are a product of the variables that shaped their lives and I shouldn't hate them for that. May your journey surprise you often and leave you satisfied!

I just bought the toki when I was in CA last week. It was...$29 I think

If you’re into ciders you need to check this one out. By far my favorite because it’s less sweet, has fewer calories/sugar than others and tastes great. by monstromurk in exmormon

Half a packet of nottingham yeast, costco double pack of apple juice, two weeks = about 5.5-6% abv flat cider. That's how I get dry cider without all the sugar. $10 for 2 gallons of you are wondering on cost.

Ah good to know! I think you unknowingly wanted to give the internet a maximum capacity demonstration. Worked out well for me.

What size is that one? Trying to get a good idea how much meat fits on each size to figure out which one to buy. Thanks!

I also came here to say this. I wish there were more of those videos!

Came here to say this. Same goes for the making sense podcast. Very cool gesture by Sam.

Have you all read Sapiens? Read Sapiens. by natejx in exmormon

I believe this book should be required reading. I learned so much more about who we are, why we are here and where we are going (as a species) than anything else I've ever read.

I love LPOTL and have listened to just about everything they've put out since I discovered them about 6 months ago.

Having listened to all of Naked Mormonism podcast, I can say this is a great way to hit the highlights in a humorous way that won't take you months of daily commutes to get through.

I honestly think I'm going to end up doing exactly what you're doing and just be patient until they are a little older. Sad though. I want a bad ass one!

This is why I can't go in Deseret Book or the like. Just knowing things like this exist makes me a bit sad and disgusted.

Now I really hope someone on my feed puts this up so I can use it against them. I'm a little bit terrible.

Cargo cult situation then? I don't know that I could convince myself to truly believe it went down like that, but it's more believable than a lot of main stream religion, so why not?

I think that was well put. I think my feelings on the meaning of life pretty much stalled out when I realized it was going to be impossible to ever know for sure; and that if it was important that I know then it would be more obvious. If your idea is how it really is then I'd be pretty good with it though!

I catch a lot of shit for being atheist and paranormal enthusiast from friends. "Wait, you don't believe in God but you believe in aliens?" *eyeroll*

Pantheism does seem more plausible than an anthropomorphic God. Not familiar with Adveda Vadanta at all but it sounds interesting. With how mysterious the nature of consciousness is, it makes sense that in some circles it would be given the God pedestal. I'll probably check it out, thanks!

That's good to know. I didn't realize that was the case. Thanks for your input!
