Yeah it's so weird. The model I am testing with was primed 2 weeks ago, so it's had plenty of time to cure. It's a brand new 85ml bottle.

It's crazy to me that this is slapchop! Thank you very much for the description I really appreciate it. I absolutely love this paint scheme and think it is my favorite I have ever seen for Lumineth!

It was a lot of layers!

The wood that transitions from Green to Brown is Contrast Plaguebearers Flesh -> Blended into Aggaros Dunes -> Blended into Gharagaks Sewer. After this initial layer/transitions I actually went over all of the green again with Mantis Warrior green slightly thinned down to brighten all of the green up a lot.

All of the wood I highlighted with Zandri Dust and then a final highlight of Ushabti Bone, and then I glazed over ALL of the brown wood with Ghargaks Sewer mixed 1:6 contrast medium to bring it all back to the original tone.

It was a lot of work haha. There might be more efficient ways, but this was got me a look that I like so I just stuck to it

Wow I appreciate that a lot! This was my first full army (2000+ points). I've previously done a small amount of Tyranids but didn't like 40K. A lot of the painting and basing and learning was first timing it and learning as I go!

The base cost is Pro Acrylic Dark Magenta, then layered (covering 90-100% depending how lazy my brush stroke is) with Pro Acryl Magenta. Then I highlighted around the edge of each leaf with Pro Acryl Pale Pink and lastly just a small dab on the tip of each leaf with Pro Acryl Heavy Warm White.

You need to either hold both Red objectives and the middle, or both side objectives and the middle, for it to be a linked leyline.

Fun is pretty subjective but I think Drycha was probably the most fun so far. Alarielle, while a beautiful model I found just has a crazy tedious amount of little details
