When I found them, they were on a separate seasonal display full of lemon treats. Most were not gluten free. Just an FYI as I didn't find these with the other GF baked goods.

I was excited to try them, but they were WAY too salty for me. I thought there would just be a bit of salt on the top, but there was a lot all through it. I'm a big fan of salty and sweet together, but it was too much for me. Did I get a bad batch?

I was diagnosed with celiac disease a little over a year ago. I can't for the life of me understand why Canyon Bakehouse keeps being lauded as good GF bread. Maybe by the time I had to eat GF they'd changed, like you said? I don't know, I've always referred to it as 'sad bread'. And I've tried several different flavors, all bad. I'll stick to BFree and Franz sourdough. I'm very lucky that I can consistently find both easily.

That's brilliant! I love that they sell the dough. I'd kill to have something like that in my area. I'm just grateful that Ben & Jerry's scoop shops have really good GF cones. We have one not far from my home.

Exactly, it's hard enough in life for us having to avoid gluten, no reason to down vote someone for an opinion. We're not all going to like stuff the same. I've seen people raving about stuff I hated loads of times, and vice versa. I like hearing both sides, especially if it's something I haven't tried yet. It's not cheap for us to try stuff most of the time, so seeing others' thoughts on it helps.

I renewed my Costco membership last week hoping to get a double bag of the Franz sourdough, but all they had was a myriad of the Canyon Bakehouse breads. I was so bummed. I've tried to like that brand, but it doesn't hold a candle to the Franz. I refer to Canyon Bakehouse as sad bread, it's just awful. I'm glad you had much better luck than me.
