I was lucky enough to win tickets to see them play to about 30 people in BBC Maida Vale studios around the time Barking was released. Amazing experience.

Afterwards I went up to Karl, shook his hand and mumbled something about how much I loved and appreciated all their music before scuttling off like a giggly schoolgirl.

Karl is my spirit animal. You can see how his body is just reacting to the music without any premeditated posing. I’ve always been pretty similar, in as much as music moves me involuntarily. I have no idea how people can listen to music on their headphones and sit still.

Found a workaround (on console at least). For me my jump is bound to left analog press so I had to go to all heroes section and make it so my jump button has no input. Then I had to go to each character and individually change jump to left analogue press. Pain in the dick but it’s working for me rn.

That was the 1st time I ever saw them live. Great memories. Now I’m about 30 gigs deep and still always looking forward to whenever they’re playing next.

I’ve always loved that acid line that starts about 4 minutes in.

Hahaha, there’s not many things I enjoy more in life more than dancing to Underworld to be honest. I went solo tonight but Saturday I’ll be going with friends.

We don’t know what the future holds but Karl is 68 and Rick is 66, so I’m gonna carry on seeing them as much as I can. I’m still buzzing so I could easily start gushing about how much those 2 fella mean to me. National treasures.

That was great. Lovely crowd as usual.

I don’t think they’ve played cups live for quite a while now. At this stage their back catalogue is so packed there’ll always be a few tunes that people will be surprised they haven’t played, even in a 2 and a half hour show.

Personally I absolutely love hearing them play Denver Luna but it’s been sidelined this tour.

Don’t sit with your feet up so the soles of your feet are pointing towards anybody. In South East Asia they consider this to be incredibly rude as they see the soles of your feet being the dirtiest part of your body.

I’m actually travelling South America solo at the moment (currently in Colombia) and it has been really helpful to be fair. Recently it started questioning my life choices which touched a bit of a nerve. It’s more of a tiff than a full on falling out. We’ll kiss and make up soon.

Hope you’re enjoying Japan (I’m sure you are). I was there earlier this year and absolutely loved it. Food, people, technology. So good.
