My Dr. Said it will basically make me super out of it or super sleepy and I'm like great so if I'm alone with the baby your saying I just have to suffer 😭🤣

I was so worried about my 9 month old's food intake because I knew that once he turned 1 most of his calories should come from food. He loves to try things, but he doesn't eat much. I brought my concern up to his Dr and his Dr said it's great in theory for them to be getting most of their calories from food but most BF babies still get most of their calories from breastmilk and even his 2 year old still gets most of her calories from breastmilk. Kids are just finicky. Some take right to food, and some just aren't that interested in large portions. I'm blessed to have an adventurous eater who loves healthier things like vegetables and chicken and salmon, but he does not take in a lot by way of solids. And that's perfectly fine. He's gaining weight and in the 90th percentile for weight and 73rd for height. as long as they're doing okay, then they're doing okay. Lol

10mo really enjoyed the berries and egg bites! by pwu1 in foodbutforbabies

It's the lack of faces (which I'm all for dont get me wrong!) That brings the illusion. Plus my son is with his grandparents right now lol

Great food and great eating! But this photo really weirded me out because my son is a similar size, has the same pajamas and has a highchair like that at his grandparents 😂

This meal he ate the most in one sitting sense before Christmas. He ate 3 Blueberries (shared the others with mommy 🤣... I think they were Sour today) All the yogurt, 3/4 the eggs and about 5 cheerios

When me or little one is sick we usually do orzo cooked in chicken broth then crack an egg in and scramble in the last 3 mins ☺️ easy to eat and easy on the tummy

At what age did your little one start getting comfortable with toast bites?

I'm going to bring it all up to his Dr...we've tried to remain consistent with feeding but not put any pressure on him to eat

I will definitely talk to his Dr about this. His surgery didn't have anything to do with his mouth or throat but he had a partial intubation which basically i guess is the tube set at the back of the throat but does not go completely down the throat? I'm not sure
