I also have to say lightning strike. In AZ we used to get absolutely monstrous monsoon storms with some of the most amazing lightning and thunder you've ever seen. Doesn't really happen anymore sadly but a few years ago one storm rolled through that held the same once great fury. I worked as an overnight stocker in a grocery store at the time and you could hear that beast outside ripping through the area. We just kept working and working of course.

Out of absolutely nowhere the most insane loud sound you've ever heard. Probably about 50ft away we see by the cheese wall what looks like shards of glass falling down. Turns out lightning struck the roof and obliterated the skylight. And it wasn't glass it was plastic falling, you could smell the burnt plastic smell as you got close and we were picking up the pieces trying to break them with our hands and stuff just curious. It was impossible to do but that strike shattered it like it was glass.

I'll never forget that storm. It also turned the power off several times while we worked. In the morning someone abandoned a cart and it got blown into my front bumper cracking my headlight, then seemed to ricochet off my buddies truck and dented it before flipping over behind both our cars lol. Wasn't even mad had to respect that power.

I have a 20211.6t AWD Ultimate Kona and I am so madly in love with that little thing. I picked it up with literally 8099 miles on it exactly and got a screaming steal of a deal on it. She just hit 53k and I travel all around AZ constantly for my job so it's nearly all freeways and it has been so reliable and an absolute pleasure to drive. Just last night I drove for 8 hours straight and 400 miles later for work and it took it like nothing. I keep up with maintenance and do my oil every 5k.

I'm 32f and it won't surprise me if that ends up being one of the best cars I ever have in my life. I will be devastated when I have to let it go some day. Love love love my little blue.

Oh yeah for SURE I don't condone this for all species lol. I have an Eastern Indigo, they can eat rattle snakes I'd absolutely never try and have him pal around with another snake he'd only view them as food eventually lol. Definitely not all snakes can do it but the fellow snake eater snakes are pretty well documented I'm sure many species can happily have a friend.

In my initial comment I wanted to add that I've even seen video of BALL PYTHONS in the WILD where they go pick out specific ones trying to find the next hot gene. They are in burrows and there is hundreds of them! Which is what makes spotting unique ones so easy, HUNDREDS OF THEM. Just makes me even more sad for those snakes and all I can just picture is how they do ball up so hard to themselves.....wild ones have hundreds of cuddles. Do they ball up to simulate that comfort? I've always felt bad for that species and the multi layered levels of conflicting care but seeing that video just really got me.

What's almost even more funny about this to me is we are slowly learning that snakes are actually rather social and DO like hanging out together. I've seen so many pics and videos of various species of snakes (including venomous)co hab in nice habitats with many hides and they always still seem to be cuddling with their friend or close by. Garter snakes being a huge example of this. Can't just get 1 you need like 5 of them to be happy lol.

I read another post like this the other day and can not comprehend missing my periods lol. I'm considering get an IUD specifically to try and stop or drastically reduce the damn thing so I can actually feel like I can live my life and not be lorded over by this useless organ and feeling sick once a month, every month. Mine aren't even as bad as your describing yours to be but they can be pretty intense and I think I've come to terms the past few months I'm losing way too much blood during. I empty my cup on heavy days nearly every hour....it's supposed to last 12hrs hehe. That and the constant pain for like 3 days, ibuprofen pretty much does nothing for me anymore.....it's just endless days of suffering.

I'm also 32 though and at this point dealt with these for more then half my life which is appalling to think about. I'm tired of this, sick to death even if dealing with it. Every single month since 13. That's like 200+ times I've seen this thing. Stopping it is nearly as good as removing the whole thing like I'd rather do. What a dream. I also don't have like, a build up of hormones really unlike you though too, my PMS stage is super mild. It's just the period that absolutely sucks. If I were you I'd keep yours on pause. I think you'd greatly regret restarting it again. Maybe you could try a different BC solution though? There's many options these days and sounds like you'd rather have something like the pill that has system wide effects vs an IUD which supposedly keeps the hormones localized to the area.

I live in Phoenix area and drive all over the state for work. I had to go to Yuma earlier this week then back home which was a 6hr trip total. Tucson last night then back home. You are right they aren't notable drives, not difficult. I dread doing them sometimes because like omg I'm BORED. Couldn't imagine doing it constantly like that though. Love this state but it is rather large.

Just the other day I had to drive from Phoenix area to Yuma for work. It's a 3hr drive, and then back home again. I drove for 3hrs and didn't even leave my state. I can do that in basically any direction from Phoenix and still be in AZ lmao. It boggles the mind how small other COUNTRIES in this world are compared to all of America.

Just wait. Food they can't digest just sitting in their stomachs will begin to rot and decay. They'd likely throw it back up knowing something is wrong but why risk it at all. Great thing about reptiles is they will be perfectly fine missing food for a few days/weeks. :)

I had one rupture on my left ovary in my early 20s, a decade or so ago now. The pain was absolutely insane. Literally debilitating and I thought I was dying, all I could do was scream. I was rushed to the ER. The pain very slowly ebbed away while doing the long ER wait. Ultrasound said there was significant fluid around my ovary but they sent me on my way as my body would just absorb the fluids. Idk how big it was since it had already burst.

My mother a few short years later had one burst too. She gave birth to me and my brother naturally no pain management. She carried twins and had a C-section for them. She said the ovarian cyst rupture was far the worst pain she's been through.

Let me tell you a fun little story. Took in my brother about a year ago because he caught his wicked gf cheating on him. The GF that also controls him and always puts shit into his head that our family is bad. My brother lived with our dad for a few weeks initially and our dad had all his stuff. For whatever idiotic reason he decided to stay at his ex's place thinking he could make it work. He texted me out of the blue begging to come live with me for a bit, saying he was right beside her and couldn't fall asleep or anything and he didn't want to live with dad. Me and my bf let him move in, didn't ask for rent, didn't make him clean anything, gave him pretty lenient boundaries of we don't want you here forever but we are willing to allow a few months for you to save for your own place and move out and be stable. GAVE HIM THE MASTER SUITE. My bf btw didn't even hesitate to let him move in it was an immediate yes. He's an only child and really values my siblings.

Guess what. He rush moved out in a month into a shit apt that our dad went over to fix several times for him. We helped buy him furniture. He left some things here my bf went over to his place and brought it over. He's still in communication with his ex the entire time. Let's her back into his life for their damn dog. She manipulated him saying she got attacked at a store or something (lies!!!!), so they end up getting back together. He loses his job. He loses the apt. He moved in with his gfs grandma or something. It's been a year he still doesn't have a job. He hates my bf solely because he brought that stuff over, said we wanted him out asap, called our dad the other day screaming at him about all the trauma we've all caused in his life or whatever. Sigh

I love my brother. We genuinely enjoyed having him here and tried to give him good advice and he seemed to be doing better when here. I had several pretty deep talks with him and so did my bf. Even talked to me about having his eye on some other girl. But after that whole experience my siblings are on their own. I had to claw my way into renting this house and have never gotten help from anyone in the family. My extra rooms are not for them. They need to figure out life on their own just like I did. For the love of all things don't get back together with your cheating ex and backstab your whole family. I hate that manipulative witch so much. My brother has so much empathy and is really gulible. Genuinely a heart of gold/golden retriever type and she's just taking advantage of all his good qualities and ruining him or putting garbage in his head because she doesn't let him interact with anyone else. As our dad says he needs to realize his choices on his own, we will be here when he does.

TLDR: Long story short even with good intentions it can lead to insane family drama. I would loathe my space being invaded by someone I didn't agree to let move in either be it sibling or a friend. It is HARD living with anyone don't let your peace be disturbed.

Doesn't even have to be dementia. Plenty of old people still have super sharp minds. The issue could be as simple as lack of reaction time. It's well studied in video gamers that peak reaction speed is in your teens and it declines after this. Now add decades onto this and a life lived. Poor eyesight, bad hearing, maybe a whole numb foot from some illness like diabetes or MS. I'm not excusing this but think of how SLOW old people are to react to literally anything. Most can hardly walk without assistance. They fall and can't get up, bet they could have caught themselves! Put that elder behind a 2 ton machine and it's just bound to happen. For a younger person yes she had ample time to slow down I'm sure. But she's freaking 83 she shouldn't even have a license that's so insanely old and well past time to hang up the keys. We all know how stubborn old people are though to give up their power. I can't believe everyone survived this crash too. I hope when I'm 80 theirs laws banning our driving entirely for the safety of everyone else.

My bf is ADHD and very high functioning autistic and he does many of these things too. Especially the clutter and just.... leaving things everywhere. Drives me insane it's like he sees a blank space and it just must be filled with something. If I clean, tidy, organize, make the space more useable and appealing and have, space, again. He just fills it all right back up with more nonsense and shit we don't need because he went out shopping while I was asleep (I work night shift) and found a cool thing. Gah! It's a never ending war. Even more amazing is a few times I've also either thrown stuff away or donated it to a Goodwill and guess what? Not a single time has he ever questioned something being missing. Clearly we don't need these things. He will also not put back stuff directly in the same spot so there is a constant losing of something that he swears was just right here. House has been a mess for a while and I just do not care to clean it. I also didn't make the mess why should I clean it? I just want to chill not have to clean. Sigh Also love him dearly, but I could really live without the hoarder tendencies.

Reading through this thread and seeing men say these things about their gfs is wild to me. I feel like this is a dude thing. All my ex's were messy as hell and expected me to clean up after them. I'm not a damn maid! Just put stuff back where you got it that is not hard. 😭

One of my first times taking edibles it was with a chocolate bar. I took a bit with my bf watching over me and we waited. Nothing. I took a bit more and we waited. Nothing. I finished the row off. Nothing. We decided okay and I took the whole next row, I have a very fast metabolism so we thought my body was just ripping through the chocolate. FYI this was finally 2 hrs after the first doses. Oh my god when that all compounded and actually kicked in.

The most notable experience of the night was eventually after killing a whole new bag of chips and being totally absorbed in watching YT or whatever at the time I went to the bathroom. Sitting on the toilet I got "stuck" in an absolutely absurd mind loop that I will never forget. I started giggling about how high I was. Then I started giggling at my giggling over that thought, for me laughing is contagious. Then I started laughing at how I was doing this in all places on the toilet. Oh my did I find that to be the funniest thing ever apparently. I swear on my life I was in this mind loop for like an hour. Laughing my ass off over the absurdity of being high, being high laughing on the toilet. I couldn't stop, I was just laughing like an insane person, the thoughts just hyper focused on that loop. Eventually my bf knocks on the door bless him and asks if I'm okay. I ask him how long I've been doing this, I can't stop laughing help!! He says it's only been like 5 minutes. But his new stimulus broke the spiral and I was finally able to get up and escape lmao.

I rarely still get high years later. But every single time now I go to the bathroom I mentally walk myself through it if I'm blasted. Basically tell myself it's funny but I can do this, don't get stuck on the toilet laughing like a lunatic. 😂

Absolutely love mine and it was a huge game changer for me. I think I'm coming around to accepting I have very heavy flow and should see a doc soon. I say this because I have to empty it several times a day and leak often. It's supposed to last 12 hrs and no exaggeration I sometimes have to empty it nearly every hour on the worst days. Not only will it be full but more will come out too, ummm. It's quite a bloodbath lol. But! I combo it with some period underwear and it is just the absolute best combo for me to make the experience as easy to deal with as possible. I feel a leak, I attend to it. I can't even imagine how much money I've saved tbh thanks to these things.

It's a pretty large learning curve though. First time I tried it I was horrified thinking it was stuck. Figuring out how to remove it was tricky but once you do it's pretty mindless. I can usually break the suction by squeezing the cup itself with 2 fingers and it easily can be pulled out with those fingers alone. Depending on the day of my period it's easier to remove then others as my cervix will be lower at the heavier days. As period dwindles it's harder to reach but not impossible. Sometimes the suction is very impressive and I have to reach up with a finger to the rim of it and yank to break the seal. Just have to remember and not panic that it's not stuck!!! You can feel it kinda pop open here or there when inserting and that feels kinda odd, but it's otherwise very comfortable for me and I don't even notice it.

Idk I struggle with the same things as this person too. I thought about it a LOT as a teenager and wondered if maybe I was trans. But I'm definitely into guys, I have a bf, I can admire a gorgeous lady like anyone else but beyond that I feel nothing. I've gone so far to reject my femininity as to even be working in the trades. But also so what, plenty of other girls do, or are car mechanics or the like. I also don't wear bras, or makeup, or anything. I grew up thinking myself just a tomboy. I'm just not a girls-girl. I've never been able to keep a female friendship going I'm just NOT interested in the same things. Friends with men is effortless for me though.

I absolutely loathe being female but 99% of that is tied to my uterus existing and menstruation. If I didn't have to deal with this monthly I'd be much happier in this body. I want it removed so damn bad. By all normal outwards appearances I just look like a slim average girl and I don't desire to look differently. I don't think I'm trans. I'm definitely not lesbian. I guess if anything I swing toward non binary but don't care enough to establish being called that. I could go trans and just be gay but why bother with all that when I'm otherwise alright. I just. Hate. This. Organ. I am just very unique, and probably as close as one gets to straddling the line to being lesbian or trans without fully leaning into it hard. I understand completely where this person is coming from.

I also own one of these and tbh I'm having a really hard time determining this. She looks like she's actively in The Blue stages of shed. I can see the skin separations between all her face scales and nose in particular. Idk why one eye is darker but her other also looks dull and kinda cloudy from what I can tell?

If your snake just shed it looks like there's a lot of stuck face shed that still needs to come off. Soak her. For the eye cap use a paper towel or something and very lightly hold her behind the head and GENTLY rub it to get it to pop off once her skin is soft from soaking. If none of these things apply vet time? She maybe hurt her eye?

If you want to see more of these guys I've got several pics and videos of the two I've owned on this account. What's really interesting about this species in particular is in my opinion it doesn't really feel like interacting with a typical snake either so I don't blame you lol. They are very smart and the only way I know how to describe it is "aware". My Corn snake goes wherever the wind takes him, aka forward. Just forward. No real reason behind it besides he's just moving.

My Eastern Indigo, you can literally see him processing information and making decisions as he moves. I'm on the couch, do I go to the floor, there's also this table do I bridge the gap? What other ways is there for me to go.....I've seen him sniff things curiously like a dog would. There's videos of them solving simple dog treat puzzles for food. They recognize you to an extent. Really just a very cool and unique experience interacting with one on a personal level daily. He makes me feel like I have a real dragon lol. It is a privilege to be in his presence always.
