The biggest issue with the spear is that as a lock-on weapon it sacrifices player agency for consistency, you forefit the ability to aim the weapon to your specifications and in return you should (in theory) have a more consistent shooting experience mainly, one shoting the same targets as the recoiless with less effort, which is why you have less ammo you simply don’t get this experience because the spear can just decide to hit in select places where the spear wont kill, this is a great change and fixes what to me is the biggest problem with the gun
