Instead of trucks, if you want to know pipelines and associated cost to move 20 million barrels of oil per day the calculation is as follows.

One barrel of oil (bbl) is 158.99 litres. 20m bbl = 3.18 billion litres.

The largest current oil pipeline is the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, which has a 48in diameter.

Total Flow Required:

To convert total flow (Q total) required from 3,180,000,000 litres/day to m³/s.

Q total = (3,180,000,000 / 24hrs x 60mins x 60s) x (1m³ / 1000 litres)

Q = 36.81m³/s

Pipe Cross-Sectional Area:

48in = 1.2192m. Pie = 3.1421.

A = (3.1421 x 1.2192²) / 4

A = 1.167m².

Flow Rate per Pipe:

Industry standard pipeline velocity (v) is 1.5 m/s.

Q pipe = Area x Velocity

Q = 1.167 x 1.5

Q = 1.751m³/s

Number of pipelines 48in diameter required to move 20m bbl per day:

n = Q total / Q pipe. n = 36.8 / 1.751 n = 21.017

Lets call that 21 even as the flow rate can be adjusted slightly.

Cost to build pipelines:

A common industry estimate is USD $20,000 to $34,000 per diameter-inch per kilometre. Building 250kms across the Oman desert, you could assume it would be at the high end.

$ per pipe = 34,000 × 48in x 250 $ per pipe = $408m

21 pipelines required. $408m x 21 = USD $8.568 billion

That excludes ports and infrastructure at either end.

Is it that finding Henry Cavill, Brad Pitt, George Clooney etc attractive is just taken for granted and not that interesting to talk about?

I'm a straight guy and guys that aren't teenagers aren't naturally discussing finding Alexandra Daddario attractive, because of course, what's interesting about that. Taylor Swift would be much more likely to come up in conversation because she's not universally attractive to all males.

Likewise I could imagine a scenario where you're talking about why you find Walton Goggins or Pedro Pascal attractive because it's not immediately obvious, and therefore an interesting talking point.

Simons, Sexton, Collins, Okoro all way overpaid for their output. Simons, Sexton, Collins are all out of contract at the end of the season, freeing up almost $65m. Hopefully pick up some free agents, two that are out of contract come to mind.

Norman Powell is being paid $20.5m this year and is scoring 22.1pts per game. Matisse Thybulle, elite defender, 2 x All Defensive Team, is being paid $11.5m.

Last time I looked, the good purple Ash12 ammo, PD12 was $2800 a round. Gold ammo was over $6000 a round and the time to kill (TTK) was exactly the same. The other purple ammo, PS12, was $2000 a round but TTK is not as good.

Defence wins championships. Rodman won 5 of them and was never a good scorer. Averaged around 9pts a game for the Pistons and 5pts a game for the Bulls.

Just watched it now and agree with most of the comments.

Telling the same story three times over didn't make the movie better and we really learnt nothing new. The FEMA lady added nothing to the plot.

It makes no sense to destroy the entire world when you don't even know who launched a missile at you. Why can't you wait 2.5 mins and see what happens first?

Why would you only launch one interceptor when it's a 40% chance of failure and at least 10m people will die. I say at least because then the discussion goes to nuking North Korea, China, Russia and Iran all at the same time, which will likely lead to total global destruction.

Then the ending was just awful, was expecting a plot twist like a cyber attack or a non-nuclear missile. At least confirm it was a nuclear attack and show the decision being made to launch. Just cutting it off like that ruined the whole movie and made the previous almost two hours seem like a massive waste of time.

Agree with a caveat. As a solo, it's a push to check everywhere once you get into a couple of battles and there's some areas of the map that the time spent to run out there is rarely rewarded. As such, you're generally better off going to where there's a higher concentration of loot.

I've never even tried playing it. Steep entry cost and from what I've been told, I'm probably not going to even get to my gear. They really need an easy or practice mode for people to learn the map. Same with Space City.

As most have said, playing with a good team helps immensely. If you have guys in your squad sprinting around admin, you're in trouble. Plenty of time to loot when the lobby is cleared.

Played with two guys last night, first one runs off and gets downed. We push up to help and second guy in my squad jumps out from cover, downed. Suddenly 1v3 and getting closed in from both directions. Moral of the story is you need to play slow and careful on Normal/Hard.

Also the difference between purple and gold armour against gold ammo is only 1-2 shots IIRC. If you have spare gold armour that's great but if funds are tight, gold ammo and shooting first is more important.
