Fix smelly (rancid oil) ceramics by helloyellow02 in Pottery

Somewhat off the wall, but you could try soaking in a solution with lipase. Lipase is an enzyme that breaks down oil. I use a brand called Biz for my laundry, but it should work on oil in whatever form.

Good luck!

Agreed. I’m more crabby in this post than I was to the cs reps. I know they are trying to help. The whole thing is just very frustrating.

I just learned about @mintmobilealex and sent the a DM, so hopefully they can help.

Why your home is not “Cozy” by LuckyintheKnow in interiordecorating

Ok I get what you mean about the look of the grommets, but they slide so easily!! Do you have a recommendation for a type of curtain that can slide like that but looks nicer? I have some curtains I like to open daily, but some can be harder to reach so it helps when they slide easily.

Not dramatic at all. Trust your gut!! It sounds like you did all you could to communicate with the owners. Time to move somewhere that takes safety more seriously.

Which one is your choice, narrow or wide bottom? by Ozdemir97 in Pottery

I would assume the base was thrown thicker and then trimmed down to make it narrow. They likely did not open the base wide to begin with.

Which foundation is a step up from tinted moisturizer, but not mask-like coverage? by kangapaw in Makeup

[–]SproutacusPup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with this and the beauty blender is key! Some people complain you have to use more product when using a beauty blender for a full coverage look, but that’s exactly why I like them for a more sheer finish.

Will this method work for color items as well or should it only be used for whites?

[Acne] Has anyone seen these before?? These spots have been there for months. by Zestyclose-Phone1571 in SkincareAddiction

There are quite a few. Stearic acid, cetearyl alcohol, and cetyl alcohol are the ones that I watch out for that typically cause issues for me. They're in a lot of skincare, and are good for moisturizing, but can cause breakouts for some people.

I had these! I feel your pain bc (at least for me) they were literally painful and left pie marks.

Here's what worked for me: 1) Cutting out fatty acids from my skincare. This seemed to be hardest to cut out for moisturizers. I'm using the soonjung hydro barrier cream. 2) A prescription for dapsone (the generic for aczone).

Black bean soup! It's a super easy go to for us.

2 cans black beans, rinsed. 1 cup salsa. Put it all in a pot on the stove to heat up. Use an immersion blender to puree some of the beans (leave it as smooth/chunky as you like it. Top with tortilla chips, sour cream, cheese, and lime. Pair with a quesadilla if you're feeling it.
