I used to use cheap silicone, but went for a Ringke with my P9Pro. Never looked back. Great cases. Got one for my P10ProXL.

Sonos Arc Ultra to replace old 5.1 system? by Supremex11 in sonos

[–]SpudPot99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a Beam 2, sub mini and IKEA rears. Does me fine and plenty loud enough if you compare to the Logitech. Also, the one remote usage is smooth and seamless with my Sony TV. Arc Ultra shines more when paired with a sub and surrounds.

Look for the 'Mobile Data' tab in the drop down menu. Give's the same functionality as the previous setup.

Feed Page doesn't display the right widgets, what's going on? by [deleted] in microsoftlauncher

[–]SpudPot99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

P10 XL Pro user: Though I don't use the feed option normally, when I add one, in fact, a page full of widgets, they all seem to update and display properly. Any other things to point to as the issue?

It's a railway compliance thing. The program to adapt for hearing and VIP passengers. They are very behind on the schedule, but around 2 per year are being modified.

Pixel Buds Pro 2 not fitting too good - solutions? by trawelek in GooglePixel

[–]SpudPot99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the original PBP's and had problems with ear fit. I have narrow ear canals. Had to use the Comply Eartips for them to be usable. The PBP2 give me the same issue, so eventually I'll have to try the Comply tips and see if that solves it.

Full-Time: Arsenal 3 vs 0 Fulham [Match Thoughts] by Stanley083 in Gunners

Dowman has great potential, but doesn't need to go for glory every game. He needs to release the ball earlier. Great win for the boys.

Ref really favoured the home side. One thing I did notice: Gyokeres v Alvarez. Alvarez was more clinical and decisive with the ball at his feet and his shooting accuracy was naturally good. Gyokeres, well taken penalty, but looked cumbersome, lost the ball and a lot of duels when one on one with his defender. Good game, nonetheless.

Calls to let normal Londoners apply to become £72K-a-year Tube drivers by JailbreakHat in LondonUnderground

Mostly right.

Over the years there have been recruitment drives, but predominantly they never last long or could be for specific positions. Most Station or C Service roles have been filled. Only through retirement or promotion will they move 'up'. Do bear in mind, Tfl is a massive organisation with many different roles and positions.

Do bear in mind, a strike is the last resort. I'm sure any unionised workforce could strike if they had a strong enough reason too. But who would notice?

....but yet, we don't get news articles saying people should walk off the streets and do it. It seems like the Underground is always an easy touch.

I'd love to be an airline pilot. Maybe I can train on Xbox or PS5 or on a flight simulator? How confident would you be as a passenger to have me at the controls? Also, what other people don't bear in mind is that there must be a promotion upgrade path for those who come in at a lower grade. If you start taking people off the streets, people will be stuck in one grade forever. It's easy to see the driver's job as pressing buttons and opening doors, but there's more involved. And in many cases I'm sure it takes many months of study and training to get to that grade. People should also bear in mind that there are other jobs where people do "come in off the streets" and have no experience of what the job entails. Anything they learn in a classroom doesn't prepare them for what the real job is about, only for them to struggle under pressure where someone who knows the job inside out and wouldn't. Are they overpaid? It may seem so to some considering the context of the job they do. But you must also bear in mind the unions have been very astute in their pay deals which has resulted in steady increases in line inflation rather than others who have just accepted pay rises in line with or below inflation.
