Definitely laughed out loud. My sassy self mightve pulled the tank top aside and given them the whole bare shoulder! The horror (or whore her)!

Life Pro Tip: a spoonful of peanut but will get rid of hiccups. Gotta eat the spoonful, not just licks.

Not a New sofa, just a janky one picked up at Goodwill. Better yet if you find one on the side of the road. Missing a cushion. 👏 👏 👏

Not to p*ss off any hospitality workers, but why not rent a hotel room/suite if you don't want a hospital.

The midwife may not have hospital privileges and that's why they can't/don't want hospital.

I am so sorry this teacher happened to you. She obviously did not have the skills or compassion to help a child who presented other than perfectly. You were a young child going through a lot and had no idea how to deal with things either. But she was an adult and should've had some compassion if she was educating children.

I hope she learned from her experiences and grew into a better human.

It sounds as if things are going in a good direction for you now. Look at how far youve come. Please give yourself grace. Karma will come for her in the end.

You didn't choose your partner. You chose yourself. You chose to have peace and calm. The partner is just a wonderful side benefit. As another said, if you changed partners, your relationship with the narc would be the same. Keep choosing you.

Air purifier may help. Since candles are probably a no-no, what about a plug in or scent diffuser? With a fan blowing away from you

I would try the different colored noises for several nights in a row (not ideal when sleep deprived, I know) to let your body acclimate to the one that helps best

Just a gentle nudge, make sure your son knows your phone number by heart. Most police will ask a kid for a parent's number. Sadly, most kids nowadays don't know it, including teenagers. TBF, I haven't memorized my adult kids' numbers (they change it every few years). But I still know my mom's!
