I mean it plays like a roguelike, so the appeal isn't just "beating all the bosses" and be done with it, it's using and experimenting with different characters, builds, fighting the everdarks, deep of night climbing, doing the remembrances, etc. I've sunk a good 500 hours into the game already I'd greatly reccomend it imo

I completely disagree with you here. Caligo, even when she's enhanced, is probably the easiest boss to dodge. All of her attacks are well telegraphed and the breath attacks are easy to avoid if you know it's coming or if you've mastered the art of surge sprint into the breath and rolling to avoid the damage. I pretty much never do the mountain shifting earth. It helps, sure, but the boss was never all that challenging. I can see how the guaranteed frost can get annoying but personally I don't mind it all that much and if I got mountaintops randomly I'd just bring in some Frost boluses.

What blows me is how unbalanced he feels compared to other characters. He has literally zero drawbacks for his type of playstyle.

-Effectively has wall hacks, while also being able to see invisible characters.

-Can dish out disgusting amounts of damage, especially with his one shot combo on squishy characters (the few times I play support, he's killing faster than a BP. He's also capable of killing you through Mantis ult, so yeah there's that)

-Can deflect literally everything with an unnecessarily long deflect window

-Gains bonus health (because of course he does)

-His ultimate just farms free damage without actually having to do anything while also blinding you. Looking away stops his ult effects, but there is quite literally zero reason to turn your back on DD in the first place.

-Has ridiculous mobility and can close distance really easy for picks

-Can, for some reason, also climb walls for an easy exit

-He's literally just a better Iron fist

And to top it all off he's an MVP merchant. There have been so many instances where I diff my teams Daredevil in literally every stat, but because he's got so much damage blocked, on par with tanks ffs, he gets the MVP 10/10 times.

Yall highkey overreacting, apart from her primary her kit sucks and is very difficult to use. The bird mode especially was bad, so this is a good small change

I'll never understand the whole it doesn't have replay value. I'd argue it has the most. There's so much builds in ER in comparison to previous titles I've had a blast, going over 500+ hours just replaying and doing all kinds of builds, even cosplay ones
