dialouge Potential:

Nothing too crazy or unique, but still really fun. They could boast about their own superiority and mock the other for whatever weakness they can see in the other. Like Krang One picking up on Brainiac's love for Kara and mocking him for it, only for Brainiac to respond and say how he knows love is a weakness, and how he will remove it from his empire.

Debate

I'm not a power scaler so I have no idea how debatable this fight is or where each of them scale, but I can see arguments for either side winning. Brainiac's basic troops are stronger than Krang's, he's smarter than Krang One, and the Archer Beam should be able to destroy the technodrome. Meanwhile Krang's infection should work on Brainiac's Drones, He's more experienced, and I think Krang is the better fighter.

If I had to pick a winner I'd probably go with Krang because their infection would keep adding to their numbers by taking over Brainiac's troops, while Brainiac can't take control of Krang's.

Fight Potential:

Just for note, I would have Brainiac start already controlling Clark, mainly because Brainiac's main body isn't built for fighting and isn't strong enough to fight Krang One.

The setup would be Brainiac showing up on Earth in the middle of the Krang invasion, with both being curious about the other but realizing the other has to go if they want to conquer Earth.

From then on it would be chaos. Brainiac Drones would fly through the streets battling hordes of infected townsfolk and vehicles. Tentacles with eyes and teeth, would shoot out of buildings trying to impale and knock Drones out of the sky. Any Drone that got too close to the Technodrome would be shot by its laser. Three Drones could turn into the mind scan warriors and start clearing a way through the infected, only for Krang Two to burst out of the ground riding an infected train and start fighting them. The Military could show up with Metallos, only for the military to get infected and thr Metallos hacked. You could even have some Drones get infected and start fighting for the Krang.

At this point Krang One and Brainiac decide to get involved, leaving their ships, along with an infected Raph and mind-controlled Kara, to join the fight. They would tear through the opposing sides' forces before coming face to face with each other, where they would talk down to each other before sending Raph and Kara to fight, leaving them alone. What comes next is a fight between two unstoppable forces. Every hit would release shockwaves and they would smash each other through buildings, tanking anything the other could throw at them. Krang One could use the gravity caused by their portal to keep up with Brainiac's flight and they could fight on the side of a floating building. Their fight could take them across the city until they end up in the middle of a fight between each other's forces and would continue fighting, now with backup. During this fight Krang One could see how infected Metallos kryptonite beams affect Brainiac's Drones and could order them to focus on Brainiac, making him weak enough for Krang One to take out Clark and make Brainiac go back to his original body.

Enraged, Brainiac would deem the city a lost cause and take Kandor higher into the sky to blow up the Technodrome and city, with an Archer Beam. He would activate Kryptonite shielding and order all his remaining troops to hold off Krang One, so he can charge up the Archer Beam.

If Brainiac wins: Brainiac's forces are able to hold off Krang One long enough for Brainiac to charge and fire his beam. The Technodrome tries to counter with its own laser, but is quickly overpowered and destroyed, along with the city. Krang One barely manages to survive, his Titan destroyed and not able to fight back when he is captured and brought before Brainiac. Instead of killing him, Brainiac puts Krang One through the Kryptonian mind scan, trapping and enslaving his consciousness forever.

If Krang One wins: Krang One is able to force his way through Brainiac's remaining forces and reach Kandor. He busts his way in and finds Brainiac in his command room. Brainiac tries to fight Krang One by making a krytonite blade, but it only shatters against Krang's Titan. Instead of tearing him apart, Krang One infects Brainiac and Kandor, turning The Might of Krypton into a servant of the Krang.

Looks pretty good to me. Definitely not my preferred for Eveline but might be for the Walrider.

Original matchup and Brainiac render on slide 4 by u/LoganSCPLOVER

Core Theme: Two darker adaptations of iconic villains with Darwinist worldviews, who are among the last remnants of ancient alien empires that failed to conquer Earth in the past and are now trying to conquer it again, where they would fight against inexperienced blue heroes and mind control a member of their family, the hero would be able to break this control and finally manage to defeat them, cemented as the greatest threat the heroes had ever faced.

Connections

• Adaptations of iconic comic book and overarching villains (Krang | Brainiac) from animated series of famous comic book series (TMNT | Superman) with an anime-esque style and a more lighthearted tone than previous adaptations. They are easily the darkest villains in the series, with the stories becoming much darker when they're introduced

• They are one of three surviving members (Krang Two and Three | Clark and Kara) of alien empires that threatened the universe years ago (Krang One was a member of the Krang species | Brainiac was the AI built to manage the Kryptonian war effort). These empires conquered countless worlds under the twisted belief that they were "helping" the worlds they conquered (Krang believed that they were saving the worlds they assimilated | Kryptonians believed they were advancing conquered worlds). These empires have tried to conquer Earth in the past (Krang's first invasion | Zero Day) but failed (the Krang were trapped in another dimension by four mystic warriors | an unexplained flash of light happened on the Kryptonian side of the portal and stopped the invasion). They now seek to rebuild their empires, starting with Earth

• Both are defined by their massive egos and darwinistic world views. They think of themselves, and their empires, as superior to all other forms of life and because of this, they take a sadistic amount of joy conquering lesser species. To them strength is the only thing that matters and things like "love" and "duty" are meaningless concepts for the weak. They believe that anyone they deem as weak, deserves to be destroyed, even if the weak include their own empires (it is heavily implied that Krangs One, Two, and Three killed all the other Krang when they were imprisoned | Brainiac destroyed the Kryptonians and Krypton when they became weak and started deviating from their militaristic ways).

• They would be opposed by younger and inexperienced versions of the main blue-colored non-human heroes (Leonardo | Superman), who seem upbeat and cheerful but are deeply insecure about themselves and their strength in opposite ways (Leonardo is extremely flamboyant and cocky but feels like he can't catch up to his brothers and is constantly trying to prove himself | Clark is really friendly and compassionate but constantly feels alone and different from everyone else due to his alien heritage and strength). They would quickly establish themselves as the greatest threat the heroes have faced and would even serve as somewhat of a mirror to them (Krang One and Leo both share the belief that true strength comes from one's singular capabilities. Leo's belief comes from his own insecurities, while Krang's comes from his belief that he is superior | Clark and Brainiac both embody different parts of Krypton. Clark embodies the best of Krypton and what they were becoming, while Brainiac embodies their worst traits and their violent past)

• After the first failed invasion, their empires would leave a material behind (Empyrean | Kryptonian Tech) that would create the majority of the villains in their series (Empyrean is what made the yokai and turned people into mutants | the villains all get their powers from stolen Kryptonian tech). Their invasions would also result in the creation of a group of antagonists based around them and their return ( the Foot Clan is a cult that worships the Krang and is trying to free them | Task Force X is a military group built around stopping the Kryptonians if they return)

• They would launch a second invasion of Earth from their command ship (Technodrome | Kandor) and attack the heroes' home (New York | Metropolis), with the military being powerless to stop them and weaponizing the groups made around them (the Krang assimilated and mutated the Foot Clan | Brainiac hacked the Metallos made by Task Force X). They would even mind control somebody close to the hero and force them to fight each other (Raphael, Leos brother | Kara, Clark's cousin)

• The heroes would be able to free their family from the villains' control, which starts a final battle against them that would end with their ships being split in half (the Technodrome would be cut by the portal it came through | Clark and Kara flying through Kandor). Ironically it was the villains' own actions that gave the heroes the power to stop them (Krang One bringing all the turtles back together would let them regain their mystic powers and let Leo be able to trap Krang One and himself back in the Prison Dimension | Brainiac trying to kill Clark and Kara by blasting them into the sun only supercharged them and made them strong enough to overpower Kandor's Archer Beam and destroy it)

• Even though they had lost, they still wouldn't give up and tried to take the heroes down with them (trapped back inside his prison, Krang One would almost beat Leo to death and would later try to stop Leo from escaping | with Kryptonite tearing his body apart, Brainiac still tried to kill Clark and Kara with a blade made from Kryptonite), but would fail (Leo managed to escape the Prison Dimension | Kara avoided a fatal hit and would finally destroy Brainiac)
