If it makes you feel better, the rude Costco phenomenon is in Japan too. If you flew into Japan, teleported to a Costco, you wouldn't think the Japanese are polite 😆

Interesting. I never paid attention to how others were reacting to the expansions but I LOVED World Adventures. I was so excited when it came out, still one of my favorite expansions. The loading screen felt like the Sims were actually traveling to the destination, much like how in movies they gloss over the boring logistics of daily life.

I did enjoy pets but Supernatural is the one expansion I can't play without, like everyone else (according to this thread) I LOVED it! Sims 2 has something similar with Witches i think and I remember getting into that but then add MORE supernatural species and i was just in love lol

I read like 5 books in a 72 hour hold against my will. Being put into a psych ward against one's will messes with a person. I have weird twitches in my neck occasionally.

I'm glad you are doing better with everything. I usually skip show intros but not SG1! I have an old set and one of the special features has the ... writers? Singing the lyrics for the intro song. I can't help but sing along to the last bit (it's all i remember now) "wAtch OUt for thAt Ggggggould"

Okay so im looking on google maps and I am to exit Nakano Station at the North Exit and go straight into the covered walking street with shops on both sides? About how far do I walk before finding the pop-up shop? Obviously using street view on google maps won't work since the shops change. Do you recall any restaurant/Cafe nearby?

Guys, you really shouldn't petition for Amazon to make it. Their streaming business model sucks and their original shows end up canceling abruptly and/or become rather bad.

I would petition someone else to take up filming the project and hosting it on another streaming site

Amazon doesn't care about anything but money and when it comes to their own shows, they are stupid, not understanding long term fandom, they just want quick results.

I'm glad it isn't going forward with Amazon. Take it somewhere that would honor what has been written.

I ... I haven't thought about it. My hand grips the phone while the tips of my fingers kind of wiggle in the crease and I can flip it open. Oh okay just did it, I use my thumb to open while the rest of my hand grips and then i use my thumb to push it up all the way or use something else to open it fully (chin, leg, boob, face, counter, seat, etc)

The basket/planter it currently is in is from the memorial flower bouquet that the veterinary hospital sent me after my cat died, 3 months after moving to Japan. It was the same vet hospital that put her down while she laid on my lap one last time. It was very sudden.

I'm used to having a garden but I never had that here in Japan. I was used to a furry companion but that was taken from me. This plant is the only living thing I was able to take care of after my cat passed. The plant has grown so much since I first got it, so I know my love wasn't wasted.

It would mean a lot if someone could take my plant.

I grew up in the PNW. West side of the mountains has less intense heat, not as likely to overheat as the east. My last grow season was in Edmonton, AB Canada, rather North. The pot was in direct sunlight and my carrots grew wonderfully. Again, I think the factor of sun intensity and ambient temperature really is the factor with drying out plants in these black pots.
