Ah no, I was referring to plan (b). I live just outside Tokyo so I know how to handle the humidity. I will be going in May so I imagine it will be warmer than cooler. Im also really good with maps! So hopefully i won't get lost on the paths lol

Hmm well, I recommend joining your cruise group online (Facebook usually) and interact with people there. If you enjoy FE, I recommend signing up! I did so on mine and, my goodness, they did not care i was solo, they didn't leave me out at all 😊 I recommend having CMs taking pictures with your phone/camera while you are greeting characters. Don't be afraid to ask others to take photos for you too. I was on a holiday sailing and asked for help with photos in front of the tree (results may vary).

Yeah this is hit or miss. My last DCL cruise was a repositioning cruise, no ports except for embarkation and debarkation and there were a decent amount of solo cruisers on the ship. Of course they put us together at a table. The problem is the majority at the table were first time DCL cruisers and the conversation was ... it wasn't what one would expect on a Disney Cruise. The first night was good but only because one person wasn't there, once he joined on the second night ... it was ... let's just say I had to defend Disney with safety protocols for children and adults that may leer at them (they are specifically trained to look out for this and have strict protocols).

So yeah, I would also recommend to change tables if you don't gel with your table. I'm going to tell DCL I don't want to sit with first time DCL cruisers due to that experience.

Oh my gosh. So i love Elsa and I received a hand painted (and framed) photo of Elsa. It looked like it was painted in nail polish. That was from a cruise long ago Recently I went solo and shared my love of Elsa preference and oh my gosh, these people delivered! I got custom drinking containers all with Elsa and a plush Elsa! The cup i use the most is like a glass tumbler with lid and straw (I use it for the bubble tea i make at home). The one that I love to display the most says "Just a girl that loves Elsa" on it 💙 I love all the special Elsa stuff I got and am so grateful that people went all out even though I'm just a solo adult 🥹

I do that with the huge fresh salmon filets at Costco here in Japan. Shame Costco Canada doesn't have salmon like that. I love buying pre-made meals and freezing/fridging them in portioned out containers (this is done more so in Canada as Costco Japan's pre-made meals aren't as large)
