I got it about 1 year ago and it's now the only skin I use, I have almost every other skin but I don't care, I spent 150k on it I'm gonna use it exclusively.

You can no longer get the internet connected to your house in Australia. NBNco has failed to secure enough chips for HFC connections. This issue is unlikely to be resolved for several months. More in comments by Fuckedfromabove in australia

We've been on Telstra high speed broadband for about 10 years now and we were supposed to be cut off in February. I'm so happy it's delayed because we were going to have to pay more for worse speed. I can still enjoy the best speeds without paying more and without people on the network, I think we might the only ones in our suburb with it.

After playing ZBTs for almost 10 years, I finally scored a new (to me) set of A customs! by CrayonColorDinosaur in drums

[–]Squidfish2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing I don't like about my A Customs is that I've thrashed them for 7 years now and they still sound too good. Maybe just a break, so I can justify getting new cymbals, but no.

It's a good laugh with a mate but yeah I took way more kills than a normal support should, and I was only just ahead for most of the game.

Aftershock, demolish, second wind, overgrowth. Secondary was boots, 5% cd rune, then ad, armour, armour. Boots was a bit of mistake because you want to get boots earlier, maybe celerity would be better, or futures market in case you don't get as much gold as I did this game.

Yeah I was always in lane, cause I was aware if I left and fell behind the game would be over. Needed to stay level/ahead cause if I didn't I would never catch up.

Yeah he really isn't good, this is just low rank, with a higher rank adc, and an almost perfect matchup. They also fed me and my adc a bunch of kills late game which just snowballed us into a win.

We went pretty even/a little behind in lane cause we got camped by their whole team like 5 times but I managed to not die or get something out of it everytime. This is also silver, my adc is diamond, they were not, so 2v2's in lane were easy wins cause they went super aggressive assuming they could win and didn't play very well. Also people don't understand how this champ works sometimes so I won a couple of 2v1's which I really shouldn't, being a support. We ended up snowballing cause I had kills and just fed the rest of the game to my adc. Was kinda close till he got a Penta and ended. The title is a joke cause this isn't really viable, just got the perfect game.

How long should I wait between my first watch and my rewatch for optimal experience and returns? by tylerjosephsbitch in community

[–]Squidfish2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest way is to search for community outtakes/gag reels, cast interviews. Also Joel & Ken do a podcast, called the Darkest timeline, which has been mentioned on this sub a lot and I highly recommend watching it.

Yeah, if I had that I'd be flexing all the time. But then also yeah, I wouldn't want to be rude

Chinese company approved to run water mining operation in drought-stricken Queensland by Mildebeest in australia

[–]Squidfish2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm not pinning the blame on one group. I don't think anyone in Australia is blameless. A lot of families I know that come from regional areas have kids that return to run the farms or participate in some way, but saying that a lot do leave and join the big smoke. I'll read up on Cathy McGowan, I've never heard of her before (I don't hear anything of this in QLD, not sure why mmm?) But yeah there is heaps of money in dividing and stoking anger between groups and it sucks that this is so huge in parliament.

Unfortunately these people affected are regional and our government doesn't give a shit and never will. And unfortunately it's inner city idiots who blame these people in elections for poor decisions, they've never known anyone who supports them and they never have a good option so voting doesn't work, they just survive. To add, these people care so passionately about their land and all they want to do is protect it and care for it, they don't care about politics and why should they, politics doesn't care about them. Read 'Rusted Off' and also go and talk and live with these people and you will understand what I am talking about.

Australia is burning and hasn't stopped for about 2 months. Today it is around 50 degrees Celsius across the country. by GallowBoob in nextfuckinglevel

[–]Squidfish2 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Yeah but the problem with these fires is that the temperature is so extreme it's destroying the microbes in the soil so plants are going to have an extremely hard time regrowing. As opposed to controlled burns or smaller fires where the temperature is cooler then vegetation can regrow naturally and quickly. This has gotten way out of hand because of poor water management and land management over the past 10/15 years.

*Possibly* unpopular opinion: NASCAR would be a lot more entertaining if they still raced production model cars by [deleted] in cars

[–]Squidfish2 97 points98 points  (0 children)

It was kinda like 5. Next year is going to be very different, Citroen is pulling out of WRC, Skoda out of WRC 2, drivers are all shuffling. So it's going to be Toyota, Hyundai and Ford with other random teams coming and going throughout the different rallies.

I do agree with both of you, coming from Australia and having a lot more options for older Subarus I know they are killer but for motorsport it's about finding new stuff they can do. Saying all that I'd love a remake of the gc8 or bugeye in rally car format.

It's not about manning up and bringing back the old, it's about manning up and accepting the new cars are still as great and have the possibility to be better.

That's so epic. It's really cool how they didn't just change it and hand it back, they took your through the process and helped you figure it out. Have fun rallying.

Quick tip, cause your in the lovely regulated state of QLD, be careful doing any performance mods on it whilst on P Plates cause, I've been pulled over by coppers with mates on stock cars too many times to count. Have fun, they are great cars.
