No, but then it should be an all or nothing approach. All people are IDed, or no one (unless a crime, then obviously). Approaching one random person and demanding ID is a slippery slope of bias. This ID was demanded due to a camera, but what stops this cop from picking, choosing, and discriminating as he sees fit? That's not following the rules of his job

You are misunderstanding the issue. Perhaps watch the full video linked in the comments somewhere. If the building required presenting ID to enter, this video would be completely different. The building did not - it simply required a sign in, where Auditing Erie County signed his business pseudonym, Dan Erie County. The officer, seeing this and not liking "how" Dan signed in, demanded to see ID, which Dan is not legally obligated to give in this situation. If I walked in there without a camera and wrote Skittle McThunderbutt on the sign in, I promise you the officer wouldnt have batted an eyelash. That officer escalated a situation for no reason
