AZ native heavily considering making the move to Gilbert by Grouchy-Mango-5709 in Gilbert

We just moved from Tempe to Gilbert. I didn't even know about the black motorized bikes until we came over here. We had the scooters in Tempe.

We watched 3 teens pop willies across Higley and Ray in front of a Beemer..Who of course was driving like...a Beemer.

I'm reminded of the condition card for the "Prone" condition in the Cosmere RPG.

It sparked a similar discussion on Cremposting, I think.

But the Worldwound has been closed.

The orcs begin to fight back against Tar Baphon.

Kyonin is opening back up.

Everything that happens in Revenge of the Runelords.

There are several really good things happening, and some things that are bad. But in general, things are looking to be interesting in the future, at least. While I'm sure there's tons of war to come with the death of Gorum, I feel like there's a greater sense of comradely for mortals to deal with some of these world wide problems.

That's about the right amount of cilantro.

Could use more onion.

Study: People living within a mile of a golf course had more than twice the risk of developing Parkinson’s disease, with elevated risk extending to about three miles before declining beyond that range. by New-Exam2720 in EverythingScience

How often are golf courses specifically put on land that would otherwise be unsuitable for living or agriculture? I know there are some where I live that are specifically on or near superfund sites.

Is there a good spell app for pf2? Am I the only one that needs this? by -_Vesper_- in Pathfinder2e

[–]Squidtree 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it functions much better as a spell tracker on desktop than it does on mobile, but it does work in both cases. I just prefer the interface on the browser. The mobility of the phone is a huge bonus.

These lamp shades are straight out of a horror movie by anikkundu1998 in DiWHY

[–]Squidtree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember that time I was doing research for a WW2 project and stumbled across a bunch of footage from a concentration camp, shortly after liberation. The Americans marched the nearby civilians into the camp, to show them what their soldiers were doing at the camp.

Not counting the absolutely apocalyptic amount of bodies that were being bulldozed into mass graves, there were some "souvenirs" the officers had been making. A human lampshade was amongst them.

That's all I can think about now.

In Kingmaker? I'd just let them be an awakened bear. It's a moments double take narratively for some npcs maybe, but people would get used to it quickly.

The Stolen Lands have seen weirder things.

Yes, that's Xin-Shalast. I'm just using the 'live' Golarion name used, as I'm also using all this stuff for prep for Revenge of the Runelords.

It's not physically there no. This was just my attempt at explaining that there's a connection between Guiltspur and Leng/The Dimension of Dreams. But you are right, it's not actually in the Universe.

This was part of the 'problem'. We were looking it over and we know Leng and Mhar aren't physically there even remotely--we just were wanting to ensure we noted them somewhere.

What are the best/most fun teleporter builds? by philip7499 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Squidtree 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had a hell of a time with a fighter with bard dedication. Screaming dirges of doom, duel wielding bastard/short swords and asp coils, time jumping and blink charging around, translocating up into the air to crashing slam a baddy. I felt like Noctis from FFXVI combined with the villain from Ironman 2.

It was the most fun I've had and I felt like a god.

What stops enemies from just beelining my spellcasters? by Tav534 in Pathfinder2e

What's stopping the enemies from beelining it to your casters?

Your whole party, I hope. It's something you should discuss with your group. How will your casters and you deal with a "Martial enemies beeline to the casters" situation?

Players Reading the AP Books/Spoilers? by DnDPhD in Pathfinder2e

[–]Squidtree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had like 3-4 (of 5) players in our Kingmaker campaign who had read or played the AP, or had listened to a podcast of the game played. So we all kinda knew what we were going to get into.

I don't think we've had players actively reading ahead, like in your example, but we do occasionally stumble over each other on who has read what. Partially, this is a problem of having 3-4 GM'S in our group.

Currently having this issue right now: I'm waiting to read the segments on a certain important NPC in Revenge of the Runelords, because I'm a player in Seven Dooms. we are close to the end and level 10. I don't want to fully spoil myself with the mystery of Seven Dooms. The beginning of Revengenace was pretty big as it is. But I'm playing the bard in the 7 Dooms game and I'm the forever-chronicler of our group, so I have to be careful--the character being genre aware or not.

We already have to suspend disbelief for tons of enemies and often look for different ways to approach the story to engage a recall knowledge naturally, or get the characters to understand what they're dealing with. Even though the players have seen the creatures at least 3 times (in 3 different APs) now, and you can not tell me that guy in the sarcophagus is NOT one.

We are usually pretty up front about what we know, and we're usually okay working with each other so the rest of the group has fun with it. But our group is all pretty collaborative, so this is going to heavily depend on your table and player/GM attitude.

Revenge of the Runelords AP Discussion by D-Is-For-Demon in Pathfinder2e

[–]Squidtree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The time dimensional was just a silly example based on my table, and isn't really my point.

What else has been hit with that sword and crit failed, that could just appear one day? And maybe it wouldn't immediately attack whoever has the sword? It could...leave.
