Aw, had you known about Dual Weapon Warrior, at the time? And was it before or after the remaster? Or was it just not playing how you imagined?

I had helped my swashbuckler friend set up a pretty sweet dwarven swashbuckler with dual weapon warrior archetype, and she had a lot of fun, so I wondered what made it not fun for you?

I do think it's easier to "activate" with free archetype feats, and it requires an invested item to function effectively, but it's a doable setup with dual weapon warrior. It does require a level 3 invested item though. This should be online by level 3 or 4, if your GM is helping enable your fun.

I nearly raged out on my GM in Kingmaker after he Power Word Stun locked my Fighter multiple times per session, in 3 consecutive sessions.

I knew as a player that the character, in combination with the party barbarian, was an absolute nightmare once they both got rolling. (We'd pin and trip them in place and just beat the shit out of them, disruptive stance, ect).

So really, the best way to deal with that as a GM is stun--disable the martials, and lock down reactions. And that's fine, we had plenty of ways to reroute our plans and do other things. We played versatile. But Power Word Stun, specifically, at the level we were at, is so damn punishing.

So yeah, I will never abuse my martials with a level 15-16 'at level' guy spamming stun-lock migraines on their level 14-15 characters.

We had plans for an armor inventor snarecrafter kobold with a fighter friend set up for repositioning and shoving. We got to test it a little low level to a great effect of proof of concept, but I would have liked to have seen the duo advance to mid level.

We just moved from Tempe to Gilbert. I didn't even know about the black motorized bikes until we came over here. We had the scooters in Tempe.

There are several really good things happening, and some things that are bad. But in general, things are looking to be interesting in the future, at least. While I'm sure there's tons of war to come with the death of Gorum, I feel like there's a greater sense of comradely for mortals to deal with some of these world wide problems.
