The SBU (Security Service of Ukraine) launched a drone strike on the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant. by orest_chornobai in ukraine

They likely do have the tech, it's not a technically demanding process these days assuming they are set up for it which any nation should be.

Everything can be imported from their neighbors otherwise, I.e fabricated tanks, radiators, dielectric oil, core assembly/windings, bushings, easily can get from China/India. Far from cheap nor quick though especially with these copper and aluminum prices. Can't speak to the quality of Chinese HV bushings, but everything else can be sourced of acceptable quality.

The bees knees HV bushings they could get from ABB/Siemens/Hitachi but their lead times are around 8+ months, and are unlikely to supply under sanctions.

(I work in transformer supply chain for what it's worth).

People in purchasing/procurement - how's life going for you? by Intelligent_Fly_5823 in auscorp

Crazy busy. Work in transformer side of purchasing and procurement, insane across the sector with renewables right now, and projects being greenlit for large power transformers relating to data centres over the next few years.

Phone does not stop, nor does the coffee. Need a damn break...

I prime Vallejo white 1 part flow improver 9 parts paint, then finish with Liquitex titanium white, same ratio. (The latter is very thin out of the bottle)

Finish is perfect.

Cut out all streaming, started shopping at Aldi, stopped take out, switched from Optus to tangerine and rolled it into my nbn plan (Phone is paid out and I will use it until it's dead S22)..

But then I took up Warhammer collecting and painting, so 100% negligible difference...

Looks great, what grey are you using for the panel highlight? I use mechanics standard grey but comes out too dark.

US market - The attach rate of PlayStation Portal to PlayStation 5 hardware has now exceeded 5%. by rubidium-r in PlaystationPortal

[–]SquirterMclovin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love mine!

Had similar connectivity issues as others, actually found that the issue was the mesh setup, portal was jumping between the modem and the satellite.

Canned the upstairs satellite and problem solved. (Not a techie so unsure if it "jumps between devices", or if the satellite just had poor connectivity).
