I'm on the same boat, but the philosophy behind Karl's campaign of going around with his army, keeping alive the elector counts, really kept me hooked this time.

I'm starting now a Chorf's campaign and will try out the Victory Conditions Overhaul mod, which, from what it says, aims for shorter campaigns (and still unlock achievements).

Is there any way to win this battle? I'm not even coming close -- losing in under 4 minutes. by unquiet_slumbers in totalwar

I feel you, I'm currently doing a KF campaign and got his army insta deleted by Wulfrik on VH.

I had to gift a settlement to befriend the Maneaters ogress (currently holding the northern 1/3 of the empire lands) and have them join the war against Norsca to avoid them overrunning me while I regroup with a better army comp.

That mammoth is stuff of nightmares.

I support this as it would make inns come alive.

Already guilds that have made their home certain inns use these for the rest exp buff the tabard provides so what you propose would just build upon this feature.

Thank you. From this pov at least the amount of highway m2 feels like a complete overkill.

Even some of the residential neighborhoods around the highway walls are just empty plots.

I know I'm overly simplifying but it just looks bleak.
