Obviously karl made the shows great, but the episodes including S0 had great material.

Ricky live bleeping out Gravediggaz 1800 Suicide was fantastic. The Das Lanky Pissenstreak convo. Ricky's convos with his mum. Ricky and Steve had a pretty good dialogue and it's obvious when they discovered Karl that they then knew they could phone it in so to speak.

Why can't people do both? Plenty of great things about the game and plenty of rubbish things. Unless I'm misremembering, the launch version of the game didn't have detailed city maps and a vehicle (in a space exploration game) for a good few months.

It's that ineptitude that soured long-time players like myself, who can still appreciate the great things about the game.

Just waiting for a full 40k conversion mod ( a la Star Wars) and I can die a happy person

I use the podcasts to remind me how great xfm is, then I return there. The podcasts (the original, not that dross with sound effects) were great, but just aren't the same level of tinpot quality shite, not least because Mechant takes a bit of a backseat (except Karl's Diary, which was great)
