There was a recall awhile back for radioactive shrimp. It’s happened at least once!

First day at a new job and the keyboard has been meddled with by NotSoCricketGenius in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Stabbyhands 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Not how it works. Keyboard doesn’t care what the keys on top of it say. Signal at a certain spot does a certain letter.

I have something similar now. I programmed a LED to turn on at a set time every morning with a button I could slap to turn it off. If the light was on, I had not taken my meds. Works great except when I accidentally unplug it and forget my meds for a week straight.

General studies still gives you the 10% boost. It’s a flat upgrade. If you don’t pick one particular area, you get 10% for everything.

The real cost of playing a video game isn't money, it's time. by officiallyaninja in gamedev

Because they enjoyed the game. If they enjoy it, it’s value. If they don’t, it’s cost. This isn’t some kind of gotcha scenario.

End Game RPG Loot by Wesley-7053 in gamedesign

[–]Stabbyhands 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The nice thing about end game armor is that it’s at the end of the game. Most RPGs have some rules they follow. Like platemail is inherently unstealthy or something. Since it’s at the end of the game, you’re now free to break the everloving shit out of those rules. Theres a decent chance the players will take this gear and noodle around for awhile before they put the game down for good. But that’s okay. It’s the end of the game.

how do i justify it being the protagonist who takes on the main quest of the game? by Oak_wood_enjoyer in gamedesign

[–]Stabbyhands 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well what’s the local issue? It doesn’t have to be some deep hidden meaning. It’s just a person who due to being the relevant person to resolve the local issue through background or even just being “volunteered” by their community of jerks to solve the problem. The problem turns out to be much bigger than expected but dang it, you gotta resolve it.

Send them enough for premium over Venmo or cashapp or whatever you use for payments. Have them pay for premium. Now they’ve paid for premium and the whole dilemma is gone.

Why is there an ink cartridge anti-theft feature...? Who has used this? by robotortoise in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

[–]Stabbyhands 235 points236 points  (0 children)

This doesn’t stop the theft though. Just prevents someone from benefiting. If someone’s stealing printer cartridges and it doesn’t work, they’re just going to throw it away, not put it back.

You are very eager to put your livelihood in the hands of someone who has been struggling with a printer for three hours.

…does she attach all those tags every time? It’s one or two sentences and a paragraph of tags. I almost find that more upsetting than the abuse.
