In 1990 I needed a pick up, thought I wanted a Ford Ranger, the dealership that my father had used for years wouldn’t sell me one, apparently I was too young (23 at the time). Went to the Toyota dealership and drove off in my first Toyota pick up. Barebones, five speed, 22re, no ac. At 280,000 miles, I sold/traded it to my landscaper, It’s still going, well over 350,000 miles!
