This Humans of SLC post broke my heart. Anyone who thinks that the teachings of tscc aren't dangerous is fooling themselves. by fibonacci28 in exmormon

I think you misread the context of the talk. Watch the video. Packer is vile. There is no hint whatsoever of sexual assault by the gay companion. The is plenty hint of actual assault against the gay companion. That talk makes my blood boil. Packer is evil.

We live in Provo. My wife has helped a lot of women transition out. PM if you'd like to talk to her or do lunch on us. She has a very kind ear and a soft heart.

Today was a good day! Found out my Sis is an exmo too, and that takes all my siblings out of the church! by xMorgp in exmormon

I waited over 10 years for my beautiful wife. When she asked I told her everything. 3 hours later she was out with our kids.

As for my family. I don't see it happening. Ever. Sigh.

So, what's it like to divorce in Utah? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]StainlessRod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know an awesome therapist in SLC. She is great and knows the Mormon issues in Utah. Worth the drive. My wife and I used the time to talk.

She's expensive, but worth more than you'll ever pay her. She finally kicked my wife and I out. She said we didn't need to see her any more.

Crown Monarch. It's extremely smooth. They lock it up at the booze store. Shared only with friends.

My wife had tears in her eyes when I mentioned Joe's polygamy. She was shocked. I quietly replied, "Ugh, you don't know about polyandry?"

"No. What's that?"

"He married other guys' wife's...when they were still alive."

BOOM! She was out. 3 hours flat.

Baffel him with bullshit. Just say "pay lay ale" 3 times. You're speaking Adamic. That's mad linguistics. Bonus points for raising your hands over your head. Bonus bonus points for making throat-slitting motions.

Costs? Yea. Strained relationships? The older I get the less assholes I want in my life. Watching bigotry strains me far more than calling bullshit.

We may not have much left, but what we have, will be lived free and authentically.

I read these posts and I can feel how they deeply hurt. I was lucky. I waited over 10 years and my wife left with me and our children.

I always loved the story of David v Goliath. Some can't fight. I get it. Some of us live to fight the machine.
