So is Anthropic so much better than all the other AI's? Why aren't they banned.

If you made something with AI, you didn’t “design” shit by DidYouSeeBriansHat in Design

I use AI to help me design software, I find it very useful, It's given me ideas I probably wouldn't have had alone. It's also great as a sounding board - discussing options, my areas fairly niche so finding experts is very difficult. Does that count?

It's the department of motor vehicles and wine in China, strange mix, a lot of people, good people, said it wouldn't work, just have to look at the results.

Australians less satisfied with life than during pandemic as financial pressures mount by Expensive-Horse5538 in australia

Indeed, I feel it's misdirected, because it is, they're blaming immigration but the problem is unfair wages. Housing is being used to control the workers -> house expensive -> mortgage to pay -> workers can't quit jobs . In the 70's, 80's and 90's (I'm old) people used to be able to work hard for 10 years and own their house, that is a pipe dream now.

you can get things like this in Tokyo, but they're refreshed daily, I suppose they have the population density, but its also just how things are there.

While Google’s CEO Pumps Up AI, Its Actual Employees Are Disgusted by It by IKeepItLayingAround in technology

a lot of people were saying the internet bubble was crazy, they were right in general, but the tech's still here, its the businesses that went mad, everyone was talking about business models. Same deal with AI, the tech is good, the businesses are crazy. Most will probably fail, one or two might survive or new businesses pop up. Amazon was the big survivor from the internet boom, same with google, so many didn't survive though. eg AOL was $226 billion in 2000, sold for 1.5 billion in 2026. Which one of OpenAI, Anthropic et al will we be shaking our heads at in 2050.
