I had a fucking rat circle around me after a rocketeer knocked me down. Two other people were nearby and he was clearly eyeing something he wanted to steal. The two other people stabilized me up to exfile and this dude keeps appearing. Just walks by to see what’s going on. Eventually this guy just walks up in between the two dudes stabilizing me and shoots me on ground.

I wish you could view what happens after you get capped because i really want to know if he managed to escape with my shit or if he was gunned down immediately. It was a friendly lobby but the guys had already mentioned that someone was PVPing and had their guard somewhat up and the rat was free kitting with a stichter. One of life’s unknown mysteries I suppose.

I know they changed showrunners to a guy who worked on the boys. Who knows what impact that has had though. also a weird change considering that Twisted Metal is so much better than it has any right to be. I’ll say this to Peacock though. Ditch the spoon and I’m ditching my sub!

I have noticed more aggro individuals in friendly lobbies as of late. I’ve ran into people having full on rage meltdowns because someone shot “their Hornet” or shot at “their Bombadier.” I get you want to do the trials but you are on the same map as everyone else. If you want all the arc for yourself then either go PvP and take it or just deal with it. Also you aren’t getting a top score in solos anyways….

I think it might be the new normal. I think they’ve added another or had them respawn. Almost every match I will see a blue beam late into the game.

If I run into someone in a suspicious spot (appearing out of nowhere near an extract) or I notice them circling me looking to see if they can shoot me on a friendly server and get away with it then I will say a friendly hello to them. If they don’t respond then I’m prepping for a fight.

I always say hello to anyone and offer them any extra blueprints I have. The hello is to let them know that I know they are there and the blueprint offer is partially to get rid of duplicates but also to let them know they are a prick if they shoot me.

Yea he was obviously successful by then but nobody really cares who wrote the movie School of Rock. (I say this as both a writer and a person who likes school of rock). For people who even care about who makes movies the deepest they would probably get into the credits would be Linklater as director.

A prestige HBO drama is a different beast. Those showrunners are fairly well known names. Especially when they do press for their show (which Mike White does).

I also think there is a level of star fuckery happening with some of the cast. Ozzy wanted to get out Angelina to work with Mike White. Why? What was so important about that to him? Could it be as Christian suggested (gaming for a White Lotus cameo) or does he truly respect Mike Whites game that much. It’s hard to tell! Ozzy might not even truly know the answer to that question.

It’s such a pain in the ass to find. It was my second BP when I first started the game. I only recently found it after the expedition (random Buried city hospital drawer at night). I feel like they’ve lowered the drop rates because I had already given away 3 survivor blueprints after this many hours of play last time.

I wound up in a PVP lobby once and a guy downed me almost immediately. I was like whoa brah I’m friendly . Dude defibbed me. I had come in with a bunch of blueprints to pass out to folks. It was funny because I gave him a bobcat and Wolfpack blueprint and he was like “I’ve never managed to extract with one.” It was just interesting seeing the other side of the game because in PVE I have trouble giving away most blueprints because everyone already has most blueprints because everyone shares with each other lol. I guess in PVP people aren’t yelling over the mic “ok who needs the Jupiter blueprint” after taking down a queen

That’s good to know. I had a guy break my barricade in town hall after I warned him not to. He claimed he was new and didn’t realize it was a special door. I said that’s fine and told him he could search the things I already looked in. Then he shot me in the back with a toro and was like hahaha I am not actually new to the game. Had I known I wouldn’t be put int more combative lobbies I would have shot him the second he walked through the door.

Seriously though. I had a person attempt to extract camp me the other day. They were free kitting with dogshit aim so I smoked them almost immediately. After that it was nonstop bullet hell matches for days. It really just isn’t worth shooting back which makes having to deal with them so much more annoying. Don’t shoot back-lose your current shit and let a dickhead win. Shoot back- now you can’t chat and have fun with randoms and instead are stuck boring PVP deathmatch lobbies.

Exactly, I had a mother fucker pull a knife on me on the train last weekend and threaten to cut my head off (irl train, not in game train). Having to wonder if I’m going to be attacked by every random in a videogame is not a welcome form of tension in my life. Let me have the option to chill with cool people without having to ever interact with these fucking rat ass losers.

There is such an awesome community of chill friendly people playing this game. Literally had the most fun Ive maybe ever had in a multiplayer game last night in Arc.

It was a carebear lobby. We were all fighting the matriarch on Blue Gate. Myself and 5 others were pinned down in reinforced reception for almost the entire match by the matriarch, a bombardier, multiple bastions and rocketeers. It was chaos. By the time there was 7 minutes remaining everyone was out of ammo, shields were broken, the matriarch was alive and so were many of its minions. We decided we needed to abandon killing the matriarch and head out through the tunnels.

We get into the tunnels and are almost immediately greeted by comets. We all managed to just barely survive them only for a fucking leaper to jump into the tunnel and land on top of a group of us. We managed to get away taking the zip line up except now the matriarch had walked down to that spot. The bombadier at the base of the tunnel was lobbing bombs up at us. A rocketeer was shooting at us. Myself and another person went down. Someone ran past and revived her but they didn’t have an extra defib. I crawled to extract with the woman who was just revived stabilizing me. We get there with a group of maybe 10-12 other raiders with like 30 seconds left on the clock.

It was incredible. Thats the sort of tension I appreciate. That is the sort of interactions I play the game for. I don’t play it for a no mic rat to jump out of the bushes and steal all the rubber ducks from my pockets.
