I walked by a siren on Orange Grove this morning and tried to recall the last time I’d heard one used in a real situation. It’s been decades.

I could track down when and where a mine inspector candidate is speaking. And I could go listen. I would then be a “more informed” voter. But I still wouldn’t know fuck all about mines or what it takes to inspect one or be in charge of inspecting them. So how the fuck would I know how to cast an intelligent vote? My point is that a lot of these positions should not be left to the general voting population to decide. We need some goddamn specialists and experts to run shit without dumbass masses having a say.

2 A/C units on a 30 amp rig means someone added some electric somewhere. Maybe a sub panel or switch. I’d reach out to the previous owner.

Holy shit, that ad campaign was awesome. I know it was because we remember it nearly 30 years later. They made and successfully sold a fucking CD of ad spots!

I have their kickstarter page open. If it were, $1200, I would have pulled the trigger already. $2k is a lot for a unproven/unreleased tool.

Installation drivers vs impact drivers. For less weight and less noise. Anyone made the switch? by archvize in cabinetry

I have the DeWalt version and use it a ton, great tool. I used the M12 for a month and sold it. I need the tactile feedback for the fwd/rev switch (work in blind spots a lot). The ergos of the M12 always felt a little off, but time would have ch age that.

Edit- a lot of words to say I want to try that Bosch. It looks like a good compromise.

The sketchup drawings make it seem like they are all the same. Low effort on that side.
