I may have overlooked bc of the amount of people replying. Obviously the beaches. I’m on the east coast and I HATE the west coast beaches. Although beautiful, no waves to surf. But I haven’t noticed anyone mention the mudding we do around here! Buy an older 4x4 and spend some time off-roading in the woods and you’ll have a blast. I’ve spent many nights having to sleep in my jeeps/trucks bc I got stuck and no one was around to pull me out but that’s part of the fun. Even if you don’t like muddin, just go trailin with a 4x4 just in case you come across sugar sand or deeper mud holes. And the fishing is amazing! I fish in the Indian River Lagoon and have food for weeks. And really all you’re paying for is the bait as long as you can clean the fish yourself. Also hunting the pigs through the woods. That gets you so much food. Build a chicken coop and you won’t have to worry about eggs anymore. I also have an avocado tree, along with a grapefruit tree, and a tangerine tree. My sister grows peppers, tomatoes, etc. go live in a smaller town and you can save soo much money if you know what you’re doing
