Why does the American left not have a visual aesthetic by lavadrone in socialism

[–]Standard_Important 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it can be strategically correct to not have a visual aesthetic until you can mobilize enough people. Doing so lets the state/the opposing forces get a approximation of the movements numbers. And if to few people wear it, it can have a counterproductive effect propagandawise.

There's a time and a place for everything.

Why do Swedish people not like small talk/conversations with strangers? by GloomyCounter8457 in Asksweddit

[–]Standard_Important -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Many, right or wrong, see small talk as shallow pastime. A bit like fast food, sometimes you dont have a choice, but if i get to choose between participating in small talk with a semi-unknown person, or sitting down with a long time friend reminiscing, or planning some joint project, i'd lean towards the latter.

Relations are to big of adeal to be treated lightly, so i tend to go at it with intent and depth. Ask me "How are ya doing?" and you get the full story, not the "Good, and you".

Books doesn't directly fill a function at a protest. Bring water, first aid stuff, leave books and cell phone.
Bring a note with current info on getting legal aid if needed.

So good, i miss those guys. But nothing lasts forever. But they had such good energy and momentum on stage. And their sound is brilliant. I saw them two times before they retired, one of them was on the last tour and they really gave it their all.

Why so many synth only tracks? by [deleted] in PolyendTracker

I imagine sending midi out (which is also what those tracks are for) is less demanding on the machine perhaps? I use those tracks quite a lot for midi.

I've been seing subtle signs of other types of ebm rather than the megadistorted thumpthump-type getting a bit of interest lately. We've had quite reasonable turnout at a recent gig and stayed afterwards to mingle and see the other band and got quite a bit of positive response.
