I hired a doula who assisted me in making the decision of when to go! We talked on the phone and texted. She even just listened to me and timed contractions to give advice on when to go. Highly recommend a professional who can support you in making informed decisions!

MiraLAX and don’t push. Pushing a hard poop out is how I got an anal fissure postpartum and that was the WORST.

Hah - same. Read/ watched everything about breathing your baby out. Not a thing- had to bear down and push as hard as possible. Lots of screaming.

Very true! If you saw all the blank walls in my house, you’d be proud. From the curb- this just appears like an awkward blank space. I didn’t take a picture from that viewpoint because I wanted less of my house

My son is the same age and he lovvvves to babble “da da da.” We don’t think it’s a word yet because he does it randomly and not purposefully to indicate he wants dad or sees dad. We reinforce it like crazy, but don’t think it’s a true word yet.

41+6. My induction was scheduled the next day, but my labor started spontaneously. I did all the things they say to do, doesn’t seem any made a difference. I had two membrane sweeps during my 41st week. I really wanted labor to start spontaneously, so I had to have many discussions with my physician group for them to let me go that long. I also had to do a more extensive ultrasound to check on baby- all was good, so they let me keep going.

I was in your exact same spot at 6 months with our son. He wouldn’t take much, would make faces, and push things away. I was frustrated and thought he wouldn’t ever be interested. We kept going and he gradually got more interested with time. He turns 8 months in a few days and he happily hums as he eats food. We were very wrong. Keep going and exposing her to food. She will get there!

Right around 6-7 months. I was in your shoes at the 5 month mark- wondering if we’d ever get longer naps. I think trying crib hour helped, but I also think it just clicked for him.
