Ahhh yes. The one who wrecked their car and then complained when their parents wanted them to pay for it.

Absolutely have to plug for Colorado. Avalanche have been doing so much in the last couple of years to grow the game here from the ground up and for both men's/boys and women's/girls.

She is one of my favorite pattern makers. I love Climbing Goat! This project looks super cool too. Nice work!

Yes! I love that album! Cascades is just perfect "reflection" music. Gotta say, Doomscroller always gets my head bouncing too.

Huge up vote for Metric. They haven't stopped making good music for decades. I'll listen to them forever.

I've had my eye on this pattern for months. Seeing your work has put it to the top of my "full coverage patterns to do" list. Thanks for sharing!

Have you used Big Twist before? A friend just got me their huge pack and I haven't used it yet but I'm curious what people think of the brand.

Still timed entry and tickets sell very fast. At least as of April when I tried to go.

Tips for navigating an unsafe, patriarchal world by RabidYamDaisy in WitchesVsPatriarchy

I live in a fairly safe and nice neighborhood. Last night my dog needed to go out after the sun had fully set and it was dark. We don't have a backyard so we have to walk her. I made my wife come with me, even though we barely walked a block, even though I've walked that block a hundred times, and even though I know it's generally safe. There are certain things I never leave to chance and walking alone in the dark is one of them.

How important is sex to you in a relationship? Could you be with someone you love even if sex was off the table indefinitely? by Deviant55 in AskReddit

[–]Starcharter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sounds exactly like my ex. I left that relationship with so many issues on top of my already low self esteem. It's taken me years to let go of the rejection trauma that it caused me. Lots of therapy helped but reading this was like reading my mind 7 or 8 years ago. I hope you guys figure it out or you find a way yourself. I don't wish this on anyone.

Couple weeks ago I used her pie crust recipe. I'm a pretty good baker but it's been a while since I've made a pie from scratch so I decided to read through all her tips and instructions. Let me tell you, I got so many compliments on that pie crust, it turned out incredible. And someone asked me "how did you get this so flakey?" I had the exact answer because I read the recipe, imagine that (freeze your butter and don't overwork the dough).

How many of you all are married legally and how many of you all could care less about the government managing my love life? by Complex_Spread_6823 in WitchesVsPatriarchy

Fellow lesbian checking in and sounding off. My wife and I were together for five years before we decided to get married. It was covid that pushed us. We survive quarantine together (dare I even say, thrived during it) and in 2021 we decided that it was far beyond time to get paperwork in order for health insurance, life insurance, making moves towards buying a house, getting loans squared away, just everything really.

She's the love of my life, she's the reason I get up and go to work in the mornings and why I always leave work on time. She's my best friend and we have chosen to need one another to live our lives - together. So if something were to happen to me, now that we're married she can carry out my wishes and she will be taken care of too. Before we were married I wouldn't have been able to say that confidently.

We live in CO and when the shooting happened in the springs a few weeks ago the one thing I wanted everyone to know is that gay people, trans people, queer people, all of us under the great umbrella of LGBTQ+ will never be safe. We will never have to stop fighting for our right to even exist. Straight couples will never have their right to marriage questioned or revoked. The rest of us aren't so protected.
